HOW DO THESE PEOPLE STAY IN BUSINESS??? If I could rate them zero stars I would. Set up a "VIP appointment with them, drove an hour each way to get there, arrived early & checked in, only to be ignored. The car we were interested in was nowhere to be found. The one we thought was the test drive car...a salesperson got in & drove off. Found another car we liked, a program car. Finally, 10 minutes after our scheduled "VIP" appointment time, some sales associate came out & told us that the car we were interested in we could not test drive, because the service manager had it the night before, and when he came back, dropped the key in their key box. The service mgr was not there, and he was "the only one with the key to the lockbox." We had had enough...and left. A week later we drove to BMW of Chattanooga & found exactly what we wanted. There, too, we had a "VIP" appointment. When we arrived on time, the car was parked out front, clean and ready to be driven, and a large sign hanging in the window with our name an VIP on it. The service was great and we bought the car. So much for BMW of Nashville. If you like snooty Brentwood attitude...this is the place for you! Otherwise, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

STEER CLEAR!
My wife was interested in purchasing a BMW and was interested in several models. She wants a new vehicle and has a trade in. She spoke with Ryan, who arranged a “VIP” appointment for her to come over and try out several different models, as well as look at what they would offer on the trade of our existing vehicle. When we arrived, 25 minutes before our schedule “VIP” appointment, they told us they would notify Ryan. We stood around for 30 minutes, long enough for her to look at various models. She ruled one of the ones she had been interested out. Finally a sales associate…not Ryan…came out to tell us Ryan was “tied up.” She asked about driving a particular model, which had shown online as being in stock and a loaner fleet car. The salesman went to get the key, and came back to tell us that, while the car is for sale, he could not demo it to us, as the service director had the key. He offered to show us a used 2017 so we could “get a feel” for the model. No one ever talked to us about the trade, or other model options, nothing. We left…cash and trade in hand…for other opportunities. We spent two and a half hours driving and waiting…for nothing. And Ryan never called to follow up. Good bye BMW of Nashville. They’re a waste of time. They have little stock on the lot, and a whole lot of attitude. PS: If they offer you a VIP appointment, VIP should be decoded as Very Impertinent Pomposity.

THEY SOLD US A PIECE OF S#%@!! We purchased a 2012 BMW 328i in 2019 for our daughter. Just 2 years and under 7,000 miles the car is no good, not worth repairing. The dealership failed to disclose to us that this year and model car has a KNOWN mechanical problem...N20 Timing Chain Failure. So well known that there have been several class action lawsuits filed against BMW. This type of information should be passed along to the consumer. They have definitely violated the "Sale of Goods Act" and their ethics are lacking! The best part is that my daughter had her oil change done at their service department on a Wednesday and on the following Sunday the timing chain broke. According to all the research I've done, the service person should have seen metal shavings in the oil pan. Hmmmm, seems fishy to me. A warning popped up on the dashboard and within seconds her cat stopped abruptly in the middle of the street (on a back road), therefore putting her life at risk. Scared her so bad, she called me crying hysterically. Fortunately, no one was traveling right behind her.

Zero response from you company
February 28, 2021 purchased X5. It was late on Sunday and close to closing. We live in one city in Alabama and have a condo in another city and receive our mail at condo because we travel a lot. My sister-in-law lives across the street so she gets our mail. We told them our drivers license has home address but mailing address is different. Anyway they mail tag info to wrong city. Talked to Rose 3-4 weeks ago but never heard anything. Drove to Brentwood March 29 and talked to Victoria, should have asked for manager, but she assured us she would call soon as she found out what’s going on. Week later no response. Today April 5 about noon called and asked for manager. Sent me to a voicemail that I think said Anna, anyway still no response. I’m sure when I finally get to get my tag there will be a penalty. Only have I think 30 days to get tag! They did give me an extended temp tag.

Poor Experience!
Unprofessional Organization. Should've listened to other reviews before buying! I purchased a Certified Used 2018 BMW M550i from BMW of Nashville in November of 2020. The buying process was great with Rez, the sales person. However, once I left the lot, this became a continued struggle and inconvenience. As the first month of ownership came to an end, I still hadn't received my tag. I contacted Rez, who went to his managers (who are completely unprofessional, untrained, and lackadaisical at best). I was told that I needed to go get the Emissions done on the vehicle. Huh? Why do I have to go get the emissions done on my new car that I purchased from BMW of Nashville? The excuse was that it was sold to me right after it had been turned in off lease and they never were able to get it done. And that's why I hadn't received my tag. No emissions = No tag. So, I bit my tongue, went out of my way, and had the emissions done on the car and paid the $10 to have it done. I sent the proof of emissions to Rez, who said he would send out another temp tag. He did, and it was received. About a week after that, I received a letter in the mail of a short payment of about $37 on my trade in payoff. While BMW sent in the payoff, it wasn't sent in the allocated window of time, so interest accrued. I sent a pic of the note to Rez, who said he would let his sales manager know. Another week goes by, and I haven't heard anything. It's also about a week before this temp tag expires, and I haven't received my tag yet again. So I follow up. I am told by Rez it would be best for me to pay off the short pay amount to the bank on my trade in, and that he would check on the tag for me as well. At this point I am frustrated and angry. Why am I yet again doing something I am not responsible for? I tell Rez to have his manager call me. Cody, the sales manager, calls me the next day 1.30.21. He regurgitates the information Rez asked me to do. He tells me he can pay the bank, but by the time he gets a check to send to the bank, it may accrue more interest and I should just pay it off and he will send me a check. His tone was sarcastic, arrogant and unprofessional. I can not understand how this person manages others. Not only should he be trained or moved into a different role, but so should whoever hired him! This is about bad process and customer service. I just spent a LOT of money at BMW, bought the maintenance agreement to go along with it, and I am now getting nickled and dimed over poor process? I STILL don't have a tag, and I am $47 out of pocket because of this dealerships incompetence. I am stuck with this organization as well because I bought the maintenance agreement so my car will be serviced there in the future. I have never dealt with this kind of experience during a vehicle purchase and hope anyone reading this will reconsider doing business at BMW of Nashville. It's not worth the hassle. Drive the extra miles to another BMW dealer and find a good local shop who works on BMW vehicles.

Worst dealer to do business with. I was sold a Honda...
Worst dealer to do business with. I was sold a Honda Odyssey 2018 on December 1, 2020. All the reviews and data shown to me as well as what the salesperson told me that the Odyssey was a good and reliable vehicle, because they had checked everything in it before selling to me. However, in less than 1 month, I had to replace so far, warped rotors and brakes. Worn out tires from different brands, and now the transmission failed while driving on I 65, almost getting into accidents due to the fact that the transmission would not go forward anymore. I have been in contact with them: Victoria Mulea salesperson which told me I would get reimbursed for the brakes, but so far I am still waiting for reimbursement. Fernando White who told me that all vehicle are checked before being sold, however, when I called their service department on the Honda issues I was told that they don't service or repair Hondas. So now the Honda is not driveable because of the transmission, so the least this dealer could do is to pay for the repairs and or take it back and provide me with a good and reliable vehicle, which is the reason I selected this dealer. So if you want no lies and no dishonesty, stay away from BMW of Nashville

Terrible experience
I am out of state buyer. I requested a quote, including dealers fees, taxes and so on. I specifically stated in writing that I did not want any surprises. I was told this would be the easiest car buying experience for me bu BMW of Nashville in writing. In the numerous calls, text messages, and emails I was provided with the information I requested. I sought out my own financing at a great rate, and obtained quotes from car transport services to deliver the vehicle to me. This process was exhausting, but I wanted to best loan rate, and the best car transportation service. I called to put a deposit on the vehicle, and after a week, and a half of communicating with BMW of Nashville I was told I could put a deposit on it, however I could not use any other lenders except for theirs, which couldn't come close to the rate I had received from my lender. I advised BMW of Nashville that perhaps in the future they could be forth coming with that information early on. I did not hear a word from anyone at the dealership after that. They wasted over a week and a half of time. Inexcusable!!!! I requested no surprises, but I received a BIG DISAPPOINTING SURPRISE. As a current BMW owner I've come to expect a certain level of professionalism, and service from BMW dealers, and I did not receive that here.

Ben M went above and beyond!
Pulled up on Friday evening right before closing time to look at a Jeep Wrangler. Ben M went above and beyond and stayed well past closing time to ensure my buying experience was top notch. I will always check with Ben before ever buying another vehicle. He will be my first call! What a pleasant experience at BMW of Nashville! We were in and out quickly and the entire experience was great!

Buyer Beware: Shady Practices And Tactics
I have been looking for a dependable truck for my farm. I found what appeared to be a decent looking, well priced truck on their lot. On arrival, I was handed off to a couple of people before being assigned a dealer. Once I looked over and test drove the truck, I noticed a couple of items of concern (one repair potentially costing $2,000, per RAM once I called). I offered to make a down payment pending an independent inspection from a vehicle specific shop (RAM). I was flat out told by Maddie (a manager) that they wouldn't undermine their service shop by making a sale contingent on a shop they had no control over. Please note that this truck had not been inspected by their own shop first - they were selling a truck that had not even had a basic safety inspection performed before being listed for sale. I was told I could take it to any shop I liked, but if it sold before I could arrange that, that was my tough luck. This was the first time I had ever dealt with a dealer that wasn't willing to take a refundable deposit based on a pre-sale inspection with an independent shop. That's called due diligence, something all buyers should be doing and dealers openly accepting. I was pre-approved by my bank before going as I knew I'd be buying a truck soon and to make the process faster and easier for me. At first Luz (dealer) told me they "may not accept outside financing" but was told they changed their mind when I told them I was walking out the door. They told me I'd have to fill out a credit application with them so they could submit it to my bank for approval - even though I was already approved from my bank. Again, I refused to do that. They also added almost $2,000 in fees/options to the list price. It wasn't until I pointed out all the add-on fees and double charging a $600 'process fee' that they changed the numbers. They apologized for their "mistake" because "most of their clients want those options." They also told me that running my credit again wouldn't hurt it, which I know isn't true, as I work in finance. Again, I tried to arrange a down payment with contingent sale but was turned down. I was told I could give them $500 to hold the truck, but if the vehicle passed THEIR inspection, I'd lose my deposit if the other shop found something and I wanted to not purchase the truck. Maddie was very confrontational and seemed personally offended that I wanted to buy a truck with an independent shops verification that it didn't need major repairs. By the way, the ram had the error message "911 vehicle phone needs service" on the display. This fix can be up to $2000 in parts and labor from Ram. She claimed that to be cosmetic in nature and wouldn't be part of their safety inspection. I'm sorry, but the truck has a built in modem that calls 911 in the event of an emergency with a press of a button (on the mirror). This function is independent of your mobile phone - I see that as a safety feature, not a cosmetic one. Again, she disagreed and was very hostile about me not wanting to give them $500 non-refundable cash on the spot. She also wouldn't say, exactly, what the inspection would entail, other than "what the state of TN requires" and "make sure you can get from point A to B." All this shady behavior made me pass on doing business with BMW of Nashville. I cannot and will not recommend this dealer to anyone.
