Kim T was efficient and effective in answering my questions as an out of town buyer. Even made sure my wife had a ride waiting at airport to transport her to dealership to complete transaction. Very easy buying experience and would recommend Brown Auto Group!

Great buying experience!

There?s a reason this dealership has been around for so long. The owners have chosen a business process that works and is modeled specifically for a positive owner experience! My business is to help dealers take their store to the next level and I have been in many across this country. Browns is definitely high on my list of first impressions and I?m glad to have stumbled across them. Thank you to the staff for a great buying experience.

It was very good. Thank you. They did everything that needed to be done in a timely matter. They called me at home before adding any service and they were ready for my vehicle when I got it there. They did a good job and transferred all the record under my name. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Don’t go there added 4K warranty without asking

I had a great experience with sales then when I went to finance the finance department added a 4K warranty that wasn’t mentioned. Got new paperwork the next day. Then the next week I ask to have the dealer sticker removed and was told NO. I went across the street and had Bobby Duby dealership remove it. They gladly removed it. I don’t recommend Brown dealership to purchase a vehicle due to the fact they added 4K to my purchase without even asking. Dirty job in my opinion. Do not go there.

Service

Derrick was great to work with, he kept me somewhat informed. I understand methods of communication are changing, but I guess I'm set in my old ways and still like to get a phone call and speak to a person, instead of texting. I explained to him upfront I only have the one vehicle and would be having to rent a car while mine was in the shop. I was without a car for 8 days, would be nice if they still offered loaner cars. Overall great service, will consider them again when I am in the market for a new car.

Buyer beware.

Nothing but trouble. Brand new car does not start consistently and hasn't from the day we drove it off the lot. Have taken it in several times since purchase with a different answer every time and no solution. Recently they broke the windshield when the car was taken in for maintenance, which was the last straw. A $35 repair became a $767 one. They win, and I'm sure they'll sleep fine tonight, because why should they care? They already got their money. Be sure to take the time to sit down and read anything they give you to sign. Don't take anything for granted. Buying a car does not have the same customer service attached as other items do, there are no guarantees even when brand new. This was my first new car and I'll never make this mistake again. Just wish it wasn't such an expensive lesson.

We are sorry to hear that we failed to meet your expectations. In February of last year, we did a software update on your vehicle for a battery issue that Subaru had issued a bulletin about. Then in December of 2020, you alerted us that you had to jumpstart your vehicle so we drained and recharged your battery. You recently brought your vehicle to our Body Shop for a rock chip repair. It is disclosed in bold type "rock chips may spread during the repair process" and that "we are not responsible for rock chips running during the repair" on the repair authorization form that Mr. Daniel Miller signed on April 30th. There is always the risk for chips and/or small cracks to spread when glass repairs are attempted. Unfortunately in this case that is precisely what happened. The $767.59 to replace and recalibrate the windshield on the 2020 Forester is actually an internal price offer we extended to you as valued customers. The regular retail replacement and recalibration pricing is $1,401.03. We are incredibly sorry for your dissatisfaction but the physical damage to your windshield was not caused by our staff and not something we are able to control which is why every glass repair order customer is required to sign the repair authorization form. Every company that repairs glass has the same repair authorization and runs the same risk of the crack running while a repair is attempted.

Vehicle worth the credit

From a review that I read on this automobile website, it seems that the payments and cost of the vehicle of your choice is determined by your credit. Not what the vehicle actually costs.

Bob, we aren't sure what review you're referring to but there are instances where special finance lenders will charge loan fees and higher than normal interest rates associate with the elevated risks of extending credit to certain borrowers. As a selling dealer we have no control of this practice and can only present the approved loan terms to the customer so they can determine how they would like to proceed.
