Toyota is recalling approximately 162,000 examples of its Tundra pickup truck over an issue with the multimedia display.

Affected vehicles include model-year 2024-25 Tundras. The issue is with the multimedia display, which may become stuck on a camera view or only show a black image. As a result, the rearview image may not be displayed when the vehicle is in Reverse, increasing the risk of a crash.
To resolve the issue, dealers will update the Parking Assist electronic control unit software for free. Toyota will notify owners by late March, but those with further questions can contact the automaker at 800-331-4331, visit Toyota.com/recall, call the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
