2027 Chrysler Pacifica's New Styling Doesn't Come With Its Base Trim
Key Points
- Chrysler has updated the Pacifica for 2027 with new front styling; unfortunately, the new styling doesn’t apply to all Pacifica trim levels.
- The base Pacifica, now known as the LX, looks the same as the outgoing Voyager.
Chrysler’s only model, the Pacifica minivan, gets bold new front styling for 2027 — but sadly, that new styling doesn’t get spread across all trims. In a weird move, the brand is only reserving the new styling for upper trims of the minivan; the base LX retains the styling of the previous Chrysler Voyager, which has been dropped from the lineup for 2027.

New Styling Isn’t Standard
Chrysler has reshuffled the Pacifica lineup a bit. Previously, a Voyager nameplate was given to the Pacifica’s most stripped-back variant aimed at value-conscious and fleet buyers, and it was only available in a single LX trim. For 2027, the Voyager name has been dropped in favor of the Pacifica LX nomenclature. If you thought you’d be able to get the updated styling on the base version, think again.
The styling of the base 2027 Pacifica might stand out like a sore thumb to some because the LX retains the same front face as the Voyager — which means the 2027 model will look the same as a 2017 Pacifica. Chrysler is only reserving the new styling for the Select, Limited and Pinnacle trims of the minivan; the Pacifica LX keeps the same styling as the discontinued Voyager, so a Pacifica with the new styling starts at $46,540 (all prices include $1,995 destination fee).
Here’s a rundown of 2027 Chrysler Pacifica pricing. The LX comes exclusively with front-wheel drive; on the remaining trims, all-wheel drive is a $3,345 option:
- LX: $43,490
- Select: $46,540
- Limited: $51,700
- Pinnacle: $56,905
Styling Isn’t Only Difference Between Base and Upper Trims
The styling isn’t the only difference between the base and upper trims; there’s packaging and option differences, as well. While all trims of the Pacifica are powered by the carryover 3.6-liter 287-horsepower V-6 engine, you can option all-wheel drive on all trims except the LX. The LX does come with some handy standard features for those buyers shopping on a budget, including power sliding doors, power rear liftgate, heated steering wheel and seats.
The Pinnacle gets exclusive features including a Blue Agave interior color and trim, Copper Alloy accents, exclusive 18- and 20-inch wheel designs, special interior lighting, a dual level instrument panel for more interior storage, and a more comfy backseat with third-row sunshades. The Pinnacle’s third row also is the only trim to get the power-folding Stow ‘n Go feature.
Limited and Pinnacle trims also receive an entry and exit exterior lighting feature: When walking up to the Pacifica, the signature lighting and Chrysler badge have a lighting animation, which also plays when leaving the vehicle.
One thing is clear: If you don’t pay more, you miss out on some of the better equipment and updates to the 2027 Pacifica.
