Following a recall affecting the security of child-safety seats, parent automaker Volkswagen is back to recall more than 356,600 vehicles from its luxury brand Audi. This time, the issue involves the rearview camera.

Affected vehicles include the following Audis and their associated model years:
A software error in the affected vehicles may prevent the rearview camera image from displaying, reducing driver visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.
As a fix, dealers will update the software for free. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Feb. 17, but those with further questions in the meantime can contact Audi customer service at 800-253-2834 (Audi’s number for this recall is 90TV), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
