"the brakes did me in"

This is my 2nd Jeep..It will be the last, as much as I have found this vehicle to be a great value for the money the situation with the brakes did me in. This is the 2nd one that I've owned that needed brakes repaired and/or replaced. My wife holds on to the armrest constantly because she doesn't trust them. And when taking it in for repair..they ask do you want the "cheap repair or the more expensive version..Hey, one would think the SAFEST solution is the right answer! Enough said, we are done with Jeeps.

Very reliable truck

I've owned my jeep for three years and I have been very happy with it. I just wish jeep made better tires for the truck. Other than that it's an excellent ride, comfortable and I feel safe driving it.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

So far so good... this is my first car. I had been driving my dad's Toyota Highlander, and besides sitting higher, and being rear wheel drive, my Jeep handles just as well. The gas mileage is not good. Especially living in metro Atlanta. I've had it for a month, and the power steering pump is making a noise... may need to have it replaced. Everything else is great. VERY Comfortable, drives great. Seats 5, and I can fit about 3 bikes in the back. Great for hauling around my guitars, and amps.

A great SUV for off-road and on-road drivers.

I've owned two Grand Cherokees, a Laredo and a Limited and I've had great experiences with both. My family currently owns five Grand Cherokees and have had a great experience with all of them. This is an excellent SUV for taking off road becuase of it's 4x4 capabilities and for highway driving and driving around town because of it's performance.

Will Never Buy Another Jeep

I'm three years in to a four year lease and have had nothing but problems with this car. Although it has less than 30,000 miles on it, the brakes have been repaired about eight times, a common problem with Jeeps we now know. The only positive is my dog loves it when the back seats are down.

Reliable, Comfort, and Look

The 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee-Special Edition is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. With the traveling I do, the seats are comfortable enough to drive for hours. The V-6 engine gets gas mileage like my old 4cylinder Stratus! You get the feeling of a luxury vehicle without the price.
