I love this jeep!

I am shopping for a jeep and I found this beautiful Laredo at Red Tag. I was looking to spend so much more, but the dealer offered me a great price! I am in love with Jeeps and test drove the Laredo which was very clean, no mechanical problems and comfortable. I have children, so my boys are going to love this SUV!!! Spacious trunk for all of my boys' toys! Impressed with the warranty. The stress of sitting at a dealership to purchase a vehicle was relieved because everything is ready to go. Can't wait til I finalize my purchase!

Trail Rated Might Be Over-Statement

I owned a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee for 5 years, and the suspension made annoying creaking sounds the entire time, no matter how many times I brought it to the dealer. Also, the wiring in the driver side door fatigued and broke. The wiring seemed excessively rigid. I also had an erroneous check engine light that came and went. Besides these issues, it was a good truck, really held it's value since I paid a little over 16k for it in 2007 and now the dealer has it listed at 11k in 2012.

Most unreliable car I ever owned .

What a great car when it ran . Unfortunately most of the time It didn't run ! It would run great for days then I would just stop running . Thousands of dollars later and no one being able to figure out the problem Including jeep . I sold it for almost half of what I paid for it 2 months earlier !!! Never again by me .

2004 Grand Cherokee Limited

The 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited is an excellent vehicle if you are looking for a small size SUV without paying new car prices. Styling, performance, power, comfort and go anywhere capability are the fine points of the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Limited trim level adds some creature comforts found on more luxurious automobiles. Memory and heated seats, sun roof, dual automatic climate control system and leather interior are just a few of the added amenities. The draw backs of the Grand Cherokee are less than stellar gas mileage, especially with the V8, and some repair issues with the climate control system. The Jeep is built with UniFrame construction where the under body is 70% high strength steel and this makes the Jeep more like a truck and less like a car so there are differences in handling and drivability. The Jeep's four wheel drive systems (and there are many) are second to none and with the four wheel disc - anti lock brakes the Jeep feels very safe in any kind of weather. All this plus 72.3 cubic feet of cargo capacity and 5,000 pounds of towing capability makes the Jeep a very versatile choice. All in all the Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited is a good fit for the person who wants comfort, style and utility.

Disappointed

My daughter had a 2001 Camry with almost 300,000 miles on it but she was starting college out of state with a 5 hour drive each way so rather than worry about the Camry and it's mileage we bought her 2004 jeep Grand Cherokee. In the 4 years that she had the Camry she put no money into it at all. In the 1 montht that she had the Jeep she had to put $300.00. A sensor went bad and then a pully seized up and burned out a belt while she was on her way to school. I worry more now than I did before. Stay away from GM cars.

Great SUV

yes gas mileage is bad, but it will never leave you sit. Great in snow (im from PA). since there are jeep dealers everywhere, maintenance is cheap. very smooth ride. i went from a BMW (hard leather seats) to a jeep and was worth it.

Still going strong

90,000 miles and still going strong. It has been reliable in every way. I love the the new Jeeps but I don't want to get rid of this one.

Nice ride - 15mpg though

This SUV absolutely crushes snow. Had an Explorer before this, it handled better but lacked the off road capablility this jeep has. Great acceleration and decent handeling. Haven't had any problems mechnically in a year of ownership. Only negative is MPG - with the AWD it's 15 no matter what, don't believe otherwise.
