“I recently purchased a Mazda2 Touring with the five-speed manual transmission. I chose the Mazda2 over the competitors for a variety of reasons, including value for money, styling, practicality, fuel efficiency and driving dynamics. The car is small, but I am 5-foot-11 and weigh 330 pounds, and I fit in the car just fine. Many of the reviews I read online criticized the 2 for having only 100 horsepower, but I have found that the car gets down the road just fine. Keep in mind, it is a subcompact car designed for fuel efficiency. If you want a pocket rocket, buy a GTI. I am averaging 37.5 mpg in mixed driving. Overall, I am very impressed.”
