More Range, Less Money: We Finally Know the 2026 Toyota RAV4 Plug-In’s Price
What Consumers Should Know
- The 2026 Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid starts at $42,950 (all prices include destination), less than the outgoing RAV4 PHEV.
- It’s good for up to 52 miles of all-electric range compared with the outgoing model’s 42 miles.
- The 2026 Toyota RAV4 PHEV goes on sale in the spring.
Toyota redesigned its RAV4 for 2026 and moved the compact SUV to a hybrid-only powertrain. The switch means a more powerful and more efficient RAV4, but it also means a more expensive one. The also-redesigned 2026 RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid, however, got less expensive for model-year 2026; it starts at $42,950, well below model-year 2025’s starting price of $46,265.
The RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid is, you guessed it, a plug-in electric hybrid that offers around 50 miles of electric-only range versus the standard RAV4.
