The 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 is the first sedan in the Ioniq sub-brand lineup and features bold styling with a flowing roofline, flush door handles and a small rear spoiler. Hyundai has revealed pricing for the all-electric Ioniq 6, with the base SE Standard Range starting at $42,715 (all pricing includes a $1,115 destination fee).

The 2023 Ioniq 6 comes with an impressive array of standard equipment, including a battery preheater, 18-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, ambient lighting, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and over-the-air updates. The EV sedan also comes with plenty of standard safety features including adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure steering assist and lane-centering steering.

Performance for the Ioniq 6 SE Standard Range variant comes from a 149-horsepower, rear-mounted electric motor that’s paired with a 53-kilowatt-hour battery pack. The SE Long Range offers more power and range; it uses a 225-hp, rear-mounted electric motor and a larger 77.4-kWh battery pack for a maximum 361 miles of range. The Ioniq 6 is also available with two electric motors that produce a combined system output of 320 hp, but range suffers depending on the size of the wheels: 316 miles with 18-inch wheels and 270 miles with 20-inch wheels. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but dual-motor models have all-wheel drive. Additionally, the Ioniq 6 will come with 350-kilowatt DC fast-charging capability, with Hyundai claiming that the EV sedan’s battery will charge from 10%-80% in 18 minutes.
