What’s New for 2026?

There are no major changes to the Envision for 2026. Buick updated the Envision with a revised nose and more standard tech features for 2024. Additional safety systems were made standard for 2025.

Standard and Available Features

The only difference between trim levels is in luxury and comfort features, many of which are available as options on the lesser trims. Standard equipment on the entry-level Preferred includes 18-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting front and rear, heated exterior mirrors, and keyless entry and starting. Inside, the Preferred features perforated synthetic leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, single-zone automatic climate control and ambient lighting. A 30-inch display combines the digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen and features Google Built-In, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging.

The Sport Touring is largely an appearance package. It differs from the Preferred in its black exterior trim for the grille, bumper accents, mirror housings and 20-inch wheels, and it also gains genuine leather upholstery and aluminum pedals.

At the top of the Envision lineup, the Avenir comes so fully equipped that the only options are dealer-installed accessories. Standard exterior features include adaptive dampers, 20-inch wheels, a panoramic moonroof and a hands-free power liftgate. Inside are heated front and rear outboard seats, ventilated front seats, a massaging driver’s seat, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control and a digital rearview mirror.

Buick takes a unique approach to safety tech with the Envision. Whereas most luxury vehicles include some driver-assist systems on the base trim level and offer others as standard or optional on higher-spec vehicles, every last safety feature available on the Envision is standard across the lineup.

That includes forward collision warning with pedestrian and bicyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure steering assist, front and rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, a 360-degree camera system, a head-up display and road-sign recognition.

Powertrain and Fuel Economy

There is only a single powertrain available in the 2026 Envision: a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine making 228 horsepower and 258 pounds-feet of torque mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard. The Envision returns an EPA-rated 22/28/25 mpg city/highway/combined.
