Owners of the all-electric Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX SUVs now have access to more than 23,500 Tesla Superchargers thanks to the first-ever Honda-approved NACS-CCS DC fast-charging adapter.

Owners should only use approved adapters when charging at a Supercharger, as required by Tesla and recommended by Honda; using other adapters could result in damage to the vehicle. Customers can now purchase an adapter from authorized Honda and Acura dealerships or online at the Honda DreamShop website for $225.

Honda and Acura owners can now also use the in-vehicle Google Built-In Maps that comes standard to locate Supercharger stations near them. Initially, the Tesla app will be required for Honda and Acura EV owners to charge at Superchargers; integration for the HondaLink and Acura EV apps, as well as plug-and-charge capability, is currently under development.
