Chrysler has issued a recall affecting more than 250,600 Pacifica and Voyager minivans over an issue with the side curtain airbags.

Affected vehicles include model-year 2022-25 Pacificas and Voyagers. The side curtain airbags may have insufficient pressure retention from seams that are incorrectly sealed, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Dealers will inspect and replace the airbags, as necessary, for free. Interim owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 30; a second notice will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners with questions in the meantime can contact Chrysler parent automaker Stellantis at 800-853-1403 (Stellantis’ numbers for this recall are 06C, 54C and 55C), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
