CARS.COM — A Porsche Panamera wagon? What a concept! But it’s not a concept, it’s the real thing having its U.S. debut at the 2017 New York International Auto Show.

Wagon is a stretch. The car is a Panamera sedan — already a hatchback — with a more squared roof.

But square has its advantages, with more headroom in the pack and folding seats for a flat (though narrow) load floor. It also has what Porsche calls 4+1 seating thanks to no big rear console splitting the seat, though your plus-one best be small.
