CARS.COM — Mercedes-Benz lifted the veil on the latest droptop version of its GT coupe, the 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. The GT C wears both its performance capabilities and luxuriousness proudly. Its muscular rear end and sweeping, sculpted profile elicit filmic images of a classic roadster maneuvering along a winding European countryside road. Large sport wheels with a five-spoke design, chrome lower-body elements, and large vents behind the front wheels and outsized rear exhaust ports, meanwhile, are a reminder of the GT C’s penchant for the track — and its mean, jewel-eyed and clench-jawed face makes it clear that it means business.
