A 2013 redesign took Nissan’s Pathfinder from rough and rugged to comfortable and family-friendly. For 2014, the midsize crossover gets a new tech package, a small price increase and a hybrid model is joining the lineup this fall.
The new SL Tech Package adds a Bose 13-speaker audio system, a navigation system, voice recognition, XM NavTraffic and NavWeather capability (SiriusXM subscription required), Zagat Survey restaurant guide, Bluetooth streaming audio and 8-inch color touch-screen. Bluetooth audio streaming was previously only available on the 2013 Platinum trim, as was the navigation system; a Bose audio system was previously only part of the SL Premium Package. The new package is $1,570 and joins the SL Premium Package, Platinum Premium Package and Trailer Tow Package.
Model-year 2014 trim level pricing is below. All prices include an $845 destination fee and model-year 2013 prices are in parenthesis. Hybrid model prices have not yet been released.
S 2WD: $29,545 ($29,495)
S 4WD: $31,145 ($31,095)
SV 2WD: $32,805 ($32,755)
