Vehicles Affected: Approximately 19,000 model-year 2009-14 Acura TSX sedans; model-year 2011-13 Acura TSX wagons; model-year 2010-12 Acura ZDX SUVs; model-year 2008-12 Honda Accord sedans; model-year 2010-11 Honda Accord Crosstour hatchback; model-year 2006-11 Honda Civic, Civic Hybrid and natural gas Civic sedans; model-year 2012-14 Honda Crosstour hatchbacks; model-year 2007-11 Honda CR-V SUVs; model-year 2009-13 Honda Fit hatchbacks; model-year 2010-13 Honda Insight hatchbacks; and model-year 2009-15 Honda Pilot SUVs

The Problem: An incorrectly installed inflator for the passenger-side frontal airbag may not properly deploy in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

The Fix: Dealers will inspect the inflator installation and replace the passenger frontal airbag module assembly, if necessary, free of charge.

What Owners Should Do: Honda will begin notifying owners June 28. Owners can call the automaker at 888-234-2138, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
