CARS.COM — Vehicles affected by service bulletin:
The problem: Vehicles may emit a squeaking noise during normal operation that can be traced to the rear leaf springs. The noise varies depending on road conditions. The condition may be due to debris getting between the leaf springs, or to a broken or misaligned retaining clip on some vehicles.
Corrective action: Dealers will clean and lubricate the rear leaf springs. If necessary, they will align or replace the leaf spring aligning clip and lubricate the rear leaf springs.
Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under the new-car warranty.
