The Nissan Rogue family continues to expand. After the off-road-oriented Rock Creek trim level debuted for the 2025 model year, the new Rogue Dark Armor joins the compact SUV’s lineup for 2026; the rest of the Rogue lineup, however, is unchanged. The 2026 Nissan Rogue starts at $30,180 (all prices include $1,390 destination charge).

What Does the 2026 Rogue Dark Armor Include?

The Dark Armor is similar in concept to the wave of black- and “night”-themed editions cresting across the industry, with a differently evocative name. It slots in below the SL trim level and gets gloss-black exterior accents and 19-inch wheels, as well as satin-black roof rails. Unlike many other such packages, though, the Dark Armor also includes more content, namely a panoramic moonroof, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and a 360-degree camera system.

Release Date and Pricing

The 2026 Nissan Rogue is on sale now, and pricing for most trims is below. All-wheel drive on the S, SV and SL trims is an additional $1,400; the Rock Creek and Platinum come as AWD-only. The pricing and release date for the Dark Armor will be announced later.

  • S: $30,180
  • SV: $31,180
  • Rock Creek: $35,080
  • SL: $36,680
  • Platinum: $40,380

In April, Nissan took the unusual step of lowering prices on the Rogue (and the larger Pathfinder) mere months after announcing them. For 2026, prices for each trim level land between the original and revised figures.

What Are the 2026 Nissan Rogue’s Trim Levels?

Exterior features of the entry-level Rogue S include 17-inch wheels, LED front and rear lighting, automatic high beams, and remote keyless entry. Inside, you’ll find cloth seating, manually adjustable front seats, four speakers and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and voice recognition.

Rogue buyers enjoy a steady drip of additional safety tech as they climb the trim-level ladder. Standard systems on the entry-level S include forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, a driver attention monitor and rear parking sensors.

The SV upgrades to 18-inch wheels and includes a power liftgate, keyless entry and start, remote start, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control and six speakers. The SV also adds adaptive cruise control, lane departure steering assist and blind spot intervention.

Riding on dark 17-inch wheels wearing all-terrain tires, the Rock Creek gets a unique front bumper and hill descent control to aid in rough-road travels. It also adds heating elements to the side mirrors and front seats and is upholstered in synthetic leather. A 360-degree camera system joins the roster on the Rock Creek.

The SL makes a big leap into luxury territory with 19-inch wheels, genuine leather seating, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, wireless phone charging and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, Google Built-In and Amazon Alexa Built-In. It also supplements the standard rear parking sensors with front and side sonar and adds ProPilot Assist 1.1, which combines adaptive cruise control and lane-centering steering (ProPilot Assist 2.1, Nissan’s hands-free semi-autonomous highway driving tech, is optional on the SL and Platinum).

At the top of the Rogue line, the Platinum adds a panoramic moonroof, quilted and perforated semi-aniline leather and a 10-speaker Bose sound system.

What Are the 2026 Nissan Rogue’s Powertrain Specs and MPG?

Every Nissan Rogue is powered by a 201-horsepower, turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine with 225 pounds-feet of torque; it’s mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard on the S, SV and SL, with AWD optional; AWD is standard on the Rock Creek and Platinum.

Nissan says front-drive 2026 Rogues are rated at 29/36/32 mpg city/highway/combined. With AWD, most Rogue trim levels return 28/35/31 mpg (official EPA fuel economy ratings for the 2026 model are not yet available). The Rock Creek’s all-terrain tires cost it a few mpg, though; its fuel economy lands at 27/32/29 mpg.
