Land Rover builds its flagship Range Rover luxury SUV with two wheelbases, the longer of which is available with two or three rows of seats, and offers four different powertrains. Trim Levels and Safety Features

As Land Rover’s flagship vehicle, the 2026 Range Rover includes a full complement of safety technologies as standard equipment: forward collision warning with pedestrian and bicyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, blind spot intervention, rear cross-traffic alert, road-sign recognition, automated parking, a 360-degree camera system, and front and rear parking sensors.

Not available on the long-wheelbase, five-seat Rover, the entry-level SE trim doesn’t skimp on standard luxury features, either. It rides on 21-inch wheels and features an adjustable-height air suspension, rear-wheel steering, a panoramic moonroof, LED exterior lighting, rain-sensing windshield wipers and keyless entry. The SE is upholstered in perforated leather and features heated, ventilated and power-adjustable first- and second-row seats; heated third-row seats in the seven-seat layout; a heated steering wheel; and three-zone automatic climate control. Cabin tech consists of a digital instrument panel and a 13.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging and an 11-speaker Meridian sound system.

Step up to the Autobiography and you’ll get 22-inch wheels, upgraded headlights and a hands-free power liftgate. The Autobiography also adds upgraded leather, massaging front seats, a head-up display, a 34-speaker Meridian audio system and dual 11.4-inch rear-seat entertainment screens.

The sporting Range Rover, the SV is only available with the standard wheelbase and the two-row long wheelbase — can’t be in too much of a hurry with third-row passengers, we guess. It gets the most powerful engine and all of the Autobiography’s features as standard equipment, plus 23-inch wheels, unique exterior and interior trim, four-zone automatic climate control, heated rear-seat legrests and larger 13.1-inch rear-seat displays. The SV Black is identical except that everything is black or dark chrome.

Powertrain Specs and MPG

Land Rover offers four engine options in the 2026 Range Rover. A turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine is standard and makes 395 horsepower and 406 pounds-feet of torque. Land Rover dubs this engine the P400. The P550e adds a plug-in hybrid system to the six-cylinder, boosting output to 543 hp and 590 pounds-feet.

The P530 is a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 generating 523 hp and 553 pounds-feet, and the P615 is a retuned version of the same V-8 that is exclusive to and standard in the SV trims. It churns out 606 hp with the same peak torque of 553 pounds-feet. All are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard four-wheel drive.

With its turbocharged six-cylinder, the P400 returns an EPA-rated 19/24/21 mpg city/highway/combined. The P550e has an estimated 50-mile electric range and is rated at 22 mpg combined with the gas engine in play, according to Land Rover (official EPA numbers for the PHEV are not yet available). The twin-turbocharged V-8 P530 returns 16/23/19 mpg in the standard-wheelbase Rover and 16/22/18 in the long-wheelbase SUV. The high-output P615 is rated at 16/23/18 in the shorter SUV and 16/22/18 in the stretched one.

Which engine is standard and which are available depends on the buyer’s wheelbase and trim-level choice:
