I hadn't bought a car in almost 13 years and everyone I worked with at Preferred was incredibly helpful and made the entire process easy. They even gave me and my son a tour of the facility and the owner even stopped by to meet us and share the history of their business. They made us feel like nothing else in the world mattered at the moment than helping us purchase a car. I can't recommend them enough.

The car is nice I got but the way they weren’t upfront with me about paying 6200 for GAP insurance and a warranty is horrible. It was never verbalized to me the warranty and GAP insurance would be 6200. Also I didn’t get any information on the warranty and what my plan covered and not covered. Then on top of that, the manager said they can’t cancel the GAP insurance and warranty even though I bought this car 5 days ago and haven’t made any payments yet! They aren’t even the ones who cancel it, they just have to sign the cancellation forms and send them to the companies so they can cancel them and refund me. Make sure to read every paper you sign which is something I should have done more thoroughly. All these car places are the same, wanting to get the most money out of you! It makes no sense a 32k car went up to 41k. Even my bank that gave me a lower interest rate was wondering why it jumped up so high. Also, after leaving the lot, my parents called my bank I bank with to get me a better interest rate because preferred said my bank was offering me a higher interest rate than the bank they recommended. Later when I called back to voice my concerns with the manager, he said I wasn’t even approved for my bank, so clearly there’s conflicting statements among the team. Also, my car is a certified pre owned car and apart of the 100,000 mile warranty so I shouldn’t even be paying extra for a third party extended warranty if the manufacturer warranty is extended since the car is a CPO.

Mike is the best! He was so helpful and down to earth. Really easy to talk to and didn’t feel out of place asking my questions (first time buying vehicle from lot).
