Awesome and luxurious

This car is fantastic! I love driving it and it is very quiet and the most comfortable car i have been in. It has great power and the model i bought is the limited. If i could i would drive this car all around the country and never get tired of being in the car!!

quality ride

The Avalon is boring in a way, not as flashy as my previous car - a 2003 CTS. While heads don't turn and it's not as much fun to drive, it gets 32 mpg on the highway and is DEPENDABLE. Not as expensive to service. Very comfy interior although the shifting is slushy, the dash detail is tawdry, and the moon roof rattles when open. I usually reup about this time, but don't like the 2011 styling .... keeping my noble steed.

Luxury, Comfort and Reliability

Purchased our second new 2006 Avalon XLS and for a good reason...because it is reliable and gets great gas mileage for a larger sedan. The overall smooth performance from the V6 is very responsive especially when you need quick acceleration. XLS has excellent base features but we purchase ours with upgrades such as Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Brake Assist(BA) and Heated Front Seats which these features are great to have for Minnesota winters. The 6 Disc CD Changer, JBL sound with 12 speakers has got to be one of the best systems around. Our Avalon has also been very reliable since we only have to do standard routine maintenance and a few recall notices only. Never been in the shop for any other work...what a relief this is to us. We truly enjoy the comfort and the spacious room of the car. We always get friends and family saying ?Let?s drive your car?. Toyota Avalon is a winner !

Great Car

I bought my 2006 Touring instead of the XLS because the Touring handles better and the car is silver and with the XLS it would have been orange wood and the touring has silver. The gas mileage is over 27 most of the time. The car has been reliable except for the recalls. I have a problem with the back seat not going down and Toyota is saying it will cost 300 to fix. I was supprised that there is no IPOD or Satelite radio, compass or heated mirrors. My 2004 Taurus has heated lighted mirrors and a compass.

THE BEST I'VE EVER OWNED

LEASED MY AVALON IN 06 STILL THINK OF IT AS A NEW CAR. AT LEASE END I WILL BUY THE CAR. I CANNOT VISUALIZE A NICER OR MORE COMFORTABLE CAR. THE ONLY THING I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IS A FOLD DOWN REAR SEAT. THIS CAR HAS POWER, SPEED, COMFORT, LOOKS AND MOST OF ALL IT GIVES ME AND MY FAMILY A GREAT FELLING OF SAFETY.

Avalon Limited

I absolutely love this car. It's as big inside as my Cadillac and I love all of my buttons. The Limited Edition is fantastic! Love the keyless entry!

90 percent great

I love the car. It gets better mileage than posted, runs down faster cars, and has a great sound system. My tilt wheel is bad (fixed once and still lets go on the telescopic part) and the driver seat hurts my back on a long drive (2 hours or more). Besides that, the car has room to spare, great mechanics, and is fun to drive. The sunroof lets in no air so can have it open in the cold of night or heat of day. IT is a great car.
