Brought this used 2006 Toyota Avalon Limited, and must say that Toyota Engineering is at its best with this car, and it is AWESOME!!!! It's everything you will need all around wise, and even runs on REGULAR UNLEADED GAS unlike previous generations with the V6 to make the more than enough 268HP!!!!

Purchased with about 130,000 miles and now 179,000. Only replaced tires and brakes. Has been very reliable. Great for family trips. The kids love the reclining rear seats.

I purchased my car used (ten years since new.) I have found nearly everything about the car satisfactory. Road noise is a bit more pronounced than I would like, but I suspect it is due to the all season Hankook tires it's wearing. Controls all seem intuitive (barring only the tilt/telescope features of the steering column.) I like how Toyota didn't leave the stereo control knobs and other in dash features exposed thanks to simple yet tasteful retracting covers. If you'd like to have an affordable yet reliable used car, then you cannot neglect this vehicle when you are shopping around.

We bought a 2006 Avalon used in 2015. We did not buy precertified, so after the initial tune up, the car has given us little trouble. The trouble it did give was that both mufflers and two coil springs needed to be replaced. We got the Limited which has memory seats, and we love them! Ours also has the option of nav. One tip: If you are looking at an older car with nav, expect big cities and more to be out of date and that updating the nav could cost more than $150. Also, our nav does not have a touchscreen, if that is important to you.

We have 106,000 mi., on our 2006 Avalon XL or XE. Can't remember. Just took it in for an oil change, and now $4900 needed in repairs. It's like we paid it off, and now we have to buy it used! Very disappointed as we probably have over $4000 already in repairs, up to now. Love the look of the interior and exterior, bot not the reliability. We considered a new Avalon poor to this, but not now. Wish we would have had one of the five star ones.

I bought this car from my brother, his daughter was driving it. It was a No. Carolina car. 145K mileage and some exterior damage. I have had for about 10 mos. in Chicago. Bringing it up to snuff, new tires brakes etc. It is the 4th Avalon I have owned, all were used. All great buys. Great engine, still rides nicely with up to 30 mph on long distance travel. 98 had 205k when disposed of, 01 has 216k miles still driving. 99 sold with135k used proceeds to buy 06. I like Avalons
