With an electric replacement imminent, the gas-powered Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class’s days are numbered. The automaker’s AMG performance arm is honoring the compact sedan with the CLA45 S Final Edition, which is also numbered as a limited-run special model.

Family Colors
The AMG CLA45 S Final Edition adopts the gray/black/yellow color scheme of other recent AMG special editions. The exterior is sprayed in Mountain Grey Magno, a matte dark gray, and sports bold black-and-yellow “45 S” graphics on the front doors. Yellow stripes accent the black mirror housings, and the matte-black 19-inch wheels likewise feature yellow details. This theme continues inside the cabin with black synthetic leather and suede upholstery with contrasting yellow stitching and trim, yellow “45 S” embroidery on the front head restraints and an illuminated yellow AMG logo on the black door sills.
Like other introductory- and farewell-edition Mercedes of late, the CLA45 S Final Edition includes the main AMG appearance packages as standard equipment. The AMG Night Package Plus blacks out the grille and exterior badging and replaces the shiny exterior bits with black chrome. The AMG Aerodynamics Package Plus adds dive planes and a larger splitter up front and a wing and diffuser out back — all in black, of course.
Mighty Four
Under the hood, the Final Edition is the same as any regular-production CLA45 S. It’s powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine making 416 horsepower and 369 pounds-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a 4Matic+ performance all-wheel-drive system. Mercedes says the CLA45 S can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4 seconds flat; top speed is limited to 155 mph.
Pricing and Availability
Mercedes will build only a limited quantity of the celebratory edition, which will go on sale in early 2026. Pricing will be announced at a later date.
