IMPROVED ONCE AGAIN
I traded my 2006 CRV for this 2007 model.. WOW!! I was dead set on keeping my "box" (as some of you have called it).. until it's end or my end. NO WAY!!! did I want to get rid of my boxy CRV.. I loved it. I loved the dependablity.. Well.. I finally agreed to test drive this car .. WOW!! I was extremely impressed with the handling, the added peppyness..the feel of the new seats..the sound of the stereo..the cargo shelf..the instrument panel...the black interior.. I purchased it! And I can't wait to take it on a long trip.. The only thing I miss is the room for my CDs.. There's no room at all for them now.... BUT!! plenty of room for the iPOD and an outlet to plug it in to.. Great job, HONDA!

Finally Got my CR-V
At First, I had difficulty choosing between CR-V and CX-7. The latter is sporty and looks better BUT overall package - CR-V is the best! Test drive other make and find out yourself. Cheers!

Love it!
I love my CR-V! It not only looks stylish but also gets excellent gas mileage - about 24 in town and 30 on the highway. It drives like a car and has the amenities of an SUV. I would definitely recommend this vehicle to a friend!

This is a FUN vehicle!
I bought my 2007 Honda CRV last November. I almost got the Accord, which I owned before, but decided to try something new. It is really fun to drive! It's very comfortable; the leather seats offer a lot of support. My only beef with this vehicle is the poor gas mileage. It does not get the gas mileage as advertised. I drive mostly in-town, and it usually averages around 18 MPG. NOT the best by a long shot. My Accord got much better gas mileage. I think Hondas are superior cars, and probably will always buy one - but I think my next one will be another Accord.

Couldn't be happier
My wife has a long daily commute for work and needs a reliable vehicle that can handle bad weather conditions. For the past 11 years, we have had a Subaru Legacy Outback (3 of them) and were very satisfied but ready for a change. I drive a 2002 Accord coupe that I bought used, so we were very familiar with Honda reliability. We got a 2007 CR-V EX-L w/ Nav. two weeks ago and are delighted no end. It is quieter, roomier and better featured for the money than the Outback. The 4-cylinder engine is more than adequate. The enhanced sound system is excellent and with the navigation system, I can now go to sleep without worrying about missing a turn when we are on long trips together. The styling is very impressive. We would not have even looked at the CR-V had it still possessed its old box-on-wheels design. The only things I miss are the power seat and lighted vanity mirrors, a small loss that is more than compensated by the rest of the vehicle.

I LOVE THIS CAR!!
I just bought this car on Friday night. Before going to look at it I did a lot of reaserch on it reading all the reviews and looking at the Pros vs. Cons. I was debating betwen the Honda CRV, Pontiac Grand Prix, and the Nissian Altama. They all get great gas milage but I was just drawn to the CRV. My husband and I went to the Dealership Friday night just to test drive it and see it in person. When we got there at first we thought they did not have the modle we wanted (EX) then we saw the only EX left on the lot in the color we liked the most (the light blue). We took it for a test Drive and I fell in love with the comfort, handling and feel of the whole car. It has so much room in it. My Husband is 6.0 ft tall and he had plenty of head room and leg room in the backseat. We left that night with the car. We have already taken it on a 150 mile trip and it handled perfectly. The gas milage is right around 29 miles to the gallon on the Highway. You do hear road noise but it is not that bad. Oh yeah I love my sun roof as well :). The reason why I went with the EX vs. EX-L or LX. I wanted a sun roof and tinted windows (out went the LX), I did not need leather trim seats, the handles and side mirros to match paint color and I was not intrested in adding the navigation system or back up camera (no need for Ex-L). I am very happy with my new CRV and would recommend it to everyone looking for an SUV type car that gets gas milage like a sadan. Pros: Sun Roof, Gas mileage, Storage Room, Plenty of room in the car for passangers, handling, the overall look inside and out, and 6 disk in dash CD changer. Cons: I guess if I have to find one it would be the little bit of road noise you hear but that is just trying to look for a con. Other wise Nothing

Nice upgrade from Civic Coupe
I test drove the RAV-4, Subaru Forester and the Jeep Compass. I liked certain features of all of them but the Honda was the best overall. Cargo room (can hold 4 sets of golf clubs or skis not simultaneously of course), interior design(comfortable and intuitive), no wheel blocking rear view, acceptable handling, acceptable torque, safety ratings, and reliability. I've owned the CRV since late January 07, at first the mileage was lame but I've noticed when I stopped driving it like my old Civic Coupe and used the cruise control, used the AC sparingly, my mileage has been better than the EPA estimates I'm getting 25 in the city, 29-30 on the highway. The AWD handled well in the snow and ice this past winter. The heated seats are great after a day of skiing.

One Minor Irritation
All of Honda's print literature and for a while advertising on the web said the CRV would have MUSIC-LINK (ability to control ipod through dashboard controls) - this really got me excited. The problem is when I picked my CRV in Sheboygan, the sales rep said MUSIC-LINK is no longer offered because there were to many problems with it. The dealer has said nothing as far as when I may expect MUSIC-LINK nor has Honda come out with any statements regarding MUSIC-LINK's future or a facsimilie.. This is disappointing, especially considering the great lengths which Honda went through to promote it. Other than that GREAT auto.

Best In Its Class
I just purchased the new 07 CRV about 3 weeks ago. I got the EXL with navigation. I got the silver with black leather interior and added fog lights and a rear spoiler. I love the car. It handles great. As far as looks go I fealt it was much nicer than the Rav-4. I actually was looking at the mid sized SUVs and had planned to purchase one but when I saw the CRV I changed my mind. Once I drove it I was sucked in. The only thing I wish it had was more power but at 22 city and 30 highway to me it's worth going without. I highly recommend the car. I would watch what color and style you buy the car in though because I've seen a few on the road that looked awful. The CRV can look great but only in the right color and the black mirrors and the interior on the base model are ugly as sin.

Almost there!
I like my CRV but there are a few things about it I wish were different. I was hoping for it in 2008 but doesn't look like it. Great room in the front but the quaility of the leather is so, so. Honda should offer up grades for those who want it. The design on the front window side panels needs looking at....the drains for rain water are too small, so in heavy rain you get a splash back. I am with the other review on the roof rack the bars should come with that purchase. Honda should offer a V6 as an option. The hatch in the back can seem like it is closed but it's not. The SUV is great and Honda's last forever, so I hope these small changes will come...I love the new body style!!! I have always driven Honda cars.
