Fast and stylish

The model is an ST and it is living up to it's rep! I love it! And the coloring I have (special edition) is beautiful.

Great car

Ease in driving and comfort are foremost for us in choosing a car. The Ford Explorer not only fulfills these criteria but is also impressive for its safety features, not to mention its streamlined exterior design and beautiful interior! One of the best cars we've ever owned !

2020 explorer, huge disappointment

Been driving ford for quite some time. Loved my 3 previous explorers, years 1997, 2014 & 2017. They were dependable & never had any issues. Thought I would get the same reliability in a 2020 when my lease was up in May. I was wrong. Ford totally dropped the ball. The quality isn’t there. Ford took away so many features that I loved in my 2017 XLT. Like dimming rear view mirror, dimming driver mirror, forward sensing, de-icer wipers, real leather seats (it’s now uncomfortable synthetic). They replaced a lot of interior with cheap hard plastic. The ride quality is rough. Doesn't come close to my 17. The steering is wonky, handles terribly around curves & turns. To top it off, ford added so much useless tech that is nothing but a giant pain. Auto start/stop decides when it wants to work. The touch screen doesn’t work when pressing the radio stations & is laggy when it does change. Heat wouldn’t turn on the morning after I brought it home. Dual climate control blows heat out one side, AC out the other with both sides set to same temp on AC. With less than 500 miles, my dash was lit like a Christmas tree full of faults and warning failures from ABS break system, hill descent, pre collision assist fault. Pre collision warning comes on with no one near warning of a crash about to happen. There have been multiple times I felt the steering wheel pulled from my hand while the car drug to the left lane....must have been malfunction with lane assist when I didn’t even have it on. Car makes strange noises after you shut it off for up to half hour later when you close any of the doors. Some thumping sound under the floor & what resembles a fuel pump noise before you start a car. Had it to dealer for all the faults which is supposedly only a sensor. But here I am a week later and having more issues with warnings on dash. This explorer is my family vehicle. I don’t feel safe driving especially with my kids in.....it’s as if this car has a mind of its own. I never use the word hate, but I can honestly say I HATE the 2020 explorer. I’ve only had it 2 months yet dread every time I have to drive it. It’s an overpriced piece of junk that I am stuck with for the next 3 years. When this lease is up, I will not be going back to ford. Take my advice & stay away

Ford doesn’t back their product

I have a Ford explorer sport 2017 with 50,000 miles on it. Just recently I now have all of my trim popping off on the vehicle only part of it is covered Under warranty. I was driving down the highway and a piece of the trim on my windshield flew off both sides are cracked they said my car is never been in an accident and I’ve never had the windshield replaced. The cost is going to be $750 when I contacted Ford they said they were only going to cover $155 as a courtesy I’ve been escalated to a supervisor and that person said they would cover $500. To then have another supervisor called me the next day to say we made a mistake we’re not covering it for 500 either take the 155 or take nothing so now this is my problem. So now we will never buy another Ford again and my husband is going to replace it himself and it’ll cost us $100 on Amazon and a YouTube video. It’s a disgrace that Ford can’t back up their own product and we’ve had to buy double-sided tape at the store because it’s all popping off and I’ve already had the roof rack replaced once on a recall and now it’s coming off again. This is a $60,000 car they should be ashamed of themselves.

Best and most luxurious vehicle I've ever driven

This vehicle is head and shoulders better than any I've ever owned. The design and looks are beautiful. The interior is luxurious stitched leather. And the technology blows me away. It is very nearly an autonomous vehicle. I love my explorer. I'm never giving it up.

Best SUV I've ever owned.

Ford Explorers have come a long way. I purchased a Platinum model and this SUV is outfitted with all the bells and whistles that a luxury car comes with. This is our family's first new car purchase, we have always purchased used, and I can say with confidence that this is the best vehicle we have ever owned. Thank you Sheehy Ford and Juan Tejera.
