Trim Levels and Safety Features

The entry-level Enclave Preferred rides on 20-inch alloy wheels and includes keyless entry and start, remote start, LED headlights and a power liftgate. Inside, you’ll find synthetic leather upholstery, power-adjustable and heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and three-zone automatic climate control with a second-row seat control panel. Cabin technology consists of a digital instrument panel and infotainment touchscreen combined into a single 30-inch display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.

Largely an appearance package, the Sport Touring features blacked-out exterior accents, including the grille, roof rails and window trim, as well as black and machine-finished 20-inch wheels. Inside, it gets perforated synthetic leather seating and a flat-bottom steering wheel.

Buick’s prestige trim, the Avenir, rides on 22-inch wheels and adaptive dampers. It can be distinguished by its color-matched lower-body trim, panoramic moonroof and unique grille; it also includes rain-sensing windshield wipers with de-icers and LED taillights. The Avenir’s cabin is upgraded with quilted leather upholstery, ventilated and massaging front seats, heated second-row seats with one-touch folding and sliding, and ambient lighting. Tech upgrades include a head-up display and a 16-speaker Bose sound system.

Buick’s flagship offering, the Enclave is fitted with a comprehensive suite of standard driver-assistance features. It includes forward collision warning with pedestrian and bicyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and steering assist, blind spot intervention, front and rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors with automatic braking, road-sign recognition, automatic high beams and a 360-degree camera system. GM’s hands-free semi-autonomous Super Cruise highway-driving tech and automated parking are optional on every trim level.

  • We have only had this Enclave for a few weeks, so I won't

We have only had this Enclave for a few weeks, so I won't give it a full 5 stars, pending another 2-3 months of use. I do, however love many things about this suv. I love the size of it, not much difference between it and a higher priced Tahoe or Yukon, not comparing it to them, overall, but just on the physical available cargo room. I love the standard features, the exterior styling, the ride quality and even though it's only a 4 cylinder, it's surprisingly quick and responsive. I haven't noticed any noise from the engine inside the cab, as other owners have mentioned. The paint quality is great, as well as the overall build, time will tell. The interior and 30" diagonal driver's info screen is awesome. All three rows have some form of power, which is cool, too. We currently have a 23' model Buick Envision, with 50k miles and no issues, so I am expecting trouble-free ownership for years to come.
