I purchased a new 2018 Tahoe. The vehicle was delivered very dirty. In detailing the vehicle I found signs of repair. After some research, I discovered that the vehicle was purchased from GM as a hail damaged vehicle. There was a large hail storm last summer in Arlington Texas that damaged hundreds of vehicles at the manufacturing facility. The vehicle was not advertised as a hail car and none of the paperwork mentions the vehicle having any previous damage. After confronting the sales manager the vehicle was returned. The dealership just took new pictures and relisted the vehicle, still not listed as a hail car. If you purchased a 2018 with a manufacture date of June or July 2018 it could be a hail car.
