Still worth the commute
Purchased my camaro from Fremont Chevrolet wich is 20 min further than my nearest Chevrolet dealer. Loved the help and professionalism when I purchased so I decided to try them for my routine services and upgrades. As I expected the service was excellent in that department as well. Needless to say, I’ll still b commuting that extra 20 min just so I know who and what I’m dealing with

I will not use this dealership again
My lease expired and I went to purchase my vehicle from the dealer that I had originally leased it from. They charged me over $400 to inspect the vehicle, and told that I had to pay $3,200 in repairs or I would not be allowed to purchase the vehicle. I later found out that in fact I could purchase the vehicle directly from GM Financial without having to pay an inspection fee or doing any repairs. When I pointed this out to the shop manager he denied this was possible. I then phoned GM using my speaker phone so the manger could hear this directly from GM Financial. Even after he heard that information, the manger denied that they had wrongly put me to great expense and inconvenience. In addition, while they were doing the repairs, they kept my car for 6 days. They do not have loaner cars, and supposedly have a car rental system. However they do not take reservations, and when I dropped my car off at 7:15 am there were no rentals available except for a large truck. So, I was forced to rent from a nearby Enterprise rental office. This added over $300 to the expenses incurred in trying to buy my leased car. After a lot of hassle the manger discounted my repair bill by $572. This very unpleasant experience reminded me of two earlier experiences with this dealer's sales people where they told me things that were not true, and when the truth came out they did nothing to correct the situation.

Chevy volt car service
I dropped my car for a manufacturing defect because car was not getting power off correctly, and also there was tire pressure issue. Fremont chevy kept my car for almost a week without any proper update and any rental vehicle. I got just one update from technician over past 7 days. Funny thing was that when I picked up my car, I got a call from technician 12 hours later that your car is ready. I had left a detailed message with my concerns to super wiser of service department. But did not get any response. I will not recommend anyone to this dealership.

Online customer service a joke
I've bought cars online before. Maybe I'm lucky but the process has always gone smooth. The internet sales consultant for this dealership was horrible. Ben Beery was the person I dealt with. I inquired about an M3 they had. Asked for pics and asked questions. Guy wouldn't respond unless I gave him a cell # for the pics. Totaly ignored my questions. Tell him to email them, not sure the guy knows how to use a computer, he sent individual emails one pic per email of the wrong car. Obviously he was doing this on purpose. Was very serious about the car. He contacted me back to let me know the car sold. Rubbing it in I guess. Would steer clear of this character Ben Beery. If you must buy from them use someone more professional.
