An issue involving the instrument panel display has prompted Ram to recall more than 65,300 trucks.

Affected vehicles include model-year 2025-26 Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, 4500 and 5500 trucks. Due to a software error, the instrument panel display in these trucks may fail, preventing the driver from seeing critical information like the speedometer, gear selection and warning lights. This increases the risk of a crash.

To resolve the issue, dealers will update the instrument panel software for free. Ram parent automaker Stellantis will notify owners May 28, but those with further questions can contact Stellantis at 800-853-1403 (the automaker’s designation for this recall is 35D), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
