508,000-Plus Toyota Camrys Recalled for Instrument Panels
Much like a recent recall for some 82,000 SUVs, Toyota’s latest safety missive involves faulty instrument panels — but this time the affected nameplate is its latest-generation Camry sedan.

More than 508,000 model-year 2025-26 Camrys are involved. The issue stems from the instrument cluster display, which may fail during vehicle startup, deactivating the hazard lights, turn signals, seat belt warning system, and smart key reminder. An instrument cluster that fails to display critical safety information increases the risk of a crash or injury.
Dealers will update the display software for free. Toyota will notify owners Sept. 21, but those with further questions in the meantime can contact the automaker at 800-331-4331 (Toyota’s numbers for this recall are 26TB16 and 26TA16), call the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
