Affected Toyota vehicles include model-year 2024-25 Land Cruiser SUVs and Mirai sedans. Affected Lexus vehicles include model-year 2024-25 UX and GX SUVs. Certain areas of the instrument panel in these vehicles may go blank during startup and, as a result, may not show important warnings or indicators, increasing the risk of a crash.
Dealers will update the software of the combinator meter for free. Toyota will begin notifying owners of the issue by late July, but those with further questions can contact the Toyota Brand Engagement Center at 800-331-4331, visit Toyota.com/recall, call the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
