Affected Genesis vehicles include model-year 2021-25 GV80 SUVs and G80 sedans; model-year 2022-26 GV70 SUVs; and model-year 2023-25 G90 sedans. Affected Kias include model-year 2022-26 Carnival minivans. In these vehicles, fuel may leak at the pipe connection between the fuel pipe and fuel rail, increasing the risk of a fire.

To resolve the issue, dealers will inspect and tighten the fuel pipe or replace it, as necessary, for free. Genesis will begin notifying owners June 8 and Kia June 2. Owners with further questions can call Genesis at 844-340-9741 (its number for this recall is 033G), Kia at 800-333-4542 (its number for this recall is SC368), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
