Got a decent offer, but when I said that I wanted to think it over, the manager offerred to pay my registraation fee as well if I closed right away. Did so, had the usual wait for the finance guy, and walked away with a new leased car.

I bought a lovely E400, which was totalled by a truck after only 4 months. I went back and they had another E400 - this time a convertable. I bought the car "as is" - however, there were some problems and one in particular I felt compelled to reach out about. They truly didn't have to do anything, however, the paid for the issue, and as well, threw in an extra that was big and totally unexpected. I cannot say enough - I think everyone knows how tough buying a car is, especially pre-owned and how the follow-up afterwards can be so challenging. I generally would have sucked it up and just not bothered. Vinnie even called me from home after work and the GM saw me immediately within 24 hours. I just completed the long distance purchase of a 981 Cayman with Porsche of Jackson. I worked with Trace in Sales and Jill in Finance. Phenomenal experience, I couldn't have asked for better. What made this purchase complicated is that the car was in Jackson, MS; my house is in FL; and I am currently on deployment with the US Army. Trace was a great salesman and a man of his word. He let me explain what I was looking for and provided plenty of information. I had been looking for a Cayman for almost two years. Just looking for the right options in a color I loved was a challenge. Jill went above and beyond in my opinion to make sure this deal happened. The dealership needed the original signed paperwork, not scanned copies. Jill worked with me to get the paperwork to my deployment location as quick as militarily possible and get it back to the dealership. Once it made it back, we had some issues with getting a delivery set up at my house in FL due to schedule conflicts, but that got worked out. Jill stayed on both the transport company and me to make sure we got the car there in a timely manner. If I were in that area, I would certainly go to Porsche of Jackson for service as well. My local Porsche service department has a high bar to reach, but I'm betting they will be able to handle the tasks.

2020 Porsche Cayenne review
Now that an initial manufacturing defect with my dashboard has been fixed and wood trim has been added, I really love my car. It is a palace on wheels and a truly amazing vehicle to behold. However, to get to this point, I've realized the following: 1) It's critical to find a quality Porsche dealership. While they do exist, they are few and far between. In my area, there is only one that I'd trust to do much more than a routine oil change. 2) Porsche as a manufacturer has a surprising disregard for both quality control and customer service. They expect their dealer network to resolve their shortcomings. 3) Pricing is not fixed or consistent for anything. Even parts and routine maintenance costs. You can save a lot of money by calling around and being informed.

2019 Porsche Cayenne review
My wife and I are past Lexus owners. Their new front end killed them for us. Happy they did though. The Cayenne is one of the best performance cars I have owned. While being fast and responsive it is also very comfortable. Interior is designed like a cockpit with all controls close to the driver.

Great until the extended warranty ran out And 2023. Cost of replacing a valve and associated work was $5000. Shakes if rear windows open from wind. Aerodynamic so so.

2016 Porsche Cayenne review
This review is for 2016 GTS model. After owning this car for a year / 20k miles, it left mixed impressions. Good: - very engaging, fun ride. Especially after installing fabspeed cat bypass and in the sport+ mode, the car sounds amazing - handling is good, its not jumpy on high speeds - interior quality - overall this was my best car to date for long road trips, not only it’s not tiring, but also fun, even on 12 hour drive. - the looks … gts model looks amazing … you cannot tell it from the 2023 model from the front, and the back overall looks better - nice gas tank size, dont need to refuel often - seats are comfortable - the AC and air quality inside the car is very good Bad: - honestly the car has mechanical flaw. You can find more info on this online, but the transmission is jerky on low speed and abrupt during breaking. The car had transfer case changed twice and it did not help. Imo this is the software issue - the v6 engine is weak. Comparing to x6m this is a totally different game. It cannot compete - trunk space is a disaster … the trunk is tiny - overall reliability, there’s been a couple of faults here and there Overall I am confused with the experience. While it was a fun car, I would have expected much more from porsche in terms of reliability and performance. Maintenance of a car is another issue, you can’t just drop by at any decent shop, because most don’t work on porsche. Those that do, are booked or don’t accept the 3rd party warranty
