Had mine 11 yrs. Bought in 2011 for 6k with 29000 mike's, yr 2002 3.0 sport , mint in siennarot red. Now has 36k miles, still mint , has a James bond theme numberplate related to "goldeneye" and wouldn't sell for 15k

It is a 2001 and after 56893 miles it is still a pleasure to own and drive. Maintenance per manufacturer schedule has been a little higher than average but the car drives and looks beautiful after 21 years. Replaced tires and batteries twice. Top up or top down it is a comfortable ride and always gets a thumbs up from people. Bought it new and it still feels and looks new.

This was the best experience I've had while buying a car. Tony greeted us at the door, gave us the keys, and said he'd be inside if we had questions or wanted to take it for a drive. No hovering. No making excuses about the condition of the car. No abrasive selling tactics. We were able to test drive the car by ourselves, which is nice because you can concentrate on the vehicle instead of listening to a sales pitch coming from the back seat. Financing was easy. And we got an extended warranty for under $2k. A previous dealer (Ford) wanted to charge us $5k for the same 3 year warranty ( the car had more miles, but not enough to justify a $3k difference. 2002 BMW Z3 Coupe (clown shoe) owner. Could be happier with my car. It’s a non-M model (only bmw that factory made more M than non-M models). I’ve got 188k miles on the dial. Truly a blast to drive. It’s quick and light, handles great and different than most cars on the road. People ask me what it is all the time. The coupe has been reliable and no major issues, just maintenance. I’ve owned it 4 years, mainly my daily driver. I’ve put about 40k miles on it. Great for short trips and canyon runs. Lots of room for groceries, I’m 6 ft tall and it’s a comfortable fit.

I wanted a weekend car. This car fit the bill perfectly. It handles extremely well and was perfect for drives on winding roads in the country.

I own a bmw z3 3.0i and man it’s so much fun to drive I had bought it at 203k miles with 16 fault codes replaced so many parts it was quite expensive engine and transmission still feel good for a 20 year old car with 200k miles, was it worth dumping money into it? Totally you get a real modern classsic driving experience, these are such underrated cars best driving experience for the buck

I purchased my BMW Z-3 (6-liter engine) when it was brand new, 1998. It is the BEST car I have ever owned. (I've had Mercedes Benz, Thunderbirds, Corvettes in the past.) This baby is now 25 years old, and has 71,000 miles on it. I bought the hardtop for it, and keep it on the car all the time now. (Too much trouble to take off and put it on the rack in the garage.) Very few repairs were needed in the past, and I've had the oil changed, etc. every year, purchased new tires like the original Michelins, and kept this car garaged. I also purchased a BMW luggage rack, and a BMW hard suitcase that snaps onto the rack, because the trunk is small. I am a small woman ("ole lady now") and this car has been perfect for everything from long road trips, to maneuvering around town into tight parking spaces. It is classic black, and I STILL get compliments on it every single day!!! No, it is not for sale.

car has a 2.8 engine, I do my own maintenance and service, car is now 24 years old, never failed annual M.O.T. test ,have replaced the sills due to corrosion, only failed me once on the road,loose battery connection. (my fault) very reliable a car that can do long journeys with no problems.

Pro Styling and handling are very good. Engine performance very good for 2.5 6 cylinder litre. Gas mileage is about 25 - 30 mpg. Con Engine crankcase ventilation valve, very difficult to replace, 3 hour job for mechanic, multiple hoses that degrade with age, costly repair. Poor design on seat bushings, which wear and cause forward and rearward motion, must remove seat to repair. Trunk mounted 3rd brake light, very prone to leak with age, suggest removing assembly and resealing with silicone. Glove box assembly suffers from lock catch sagging on my Z3 From my research, all Z3 speedometers read about 7% higher than actual speed. Convertible top seals harden and can leak water in around the windows. If you plan to do work yourself be sure to get a shop manual. Manuals are very limited and pricey. Search internet for formums and ask questions prior to purchase. Maintenance is a must to keep these cars performing well. Overall I am very satisfied with the car.

I've owned a BMW Z3 2.8 L - it is truly one of the best balanced cars I've ever driven. It can take corners at speed as if it is on rails. The 6 cylinder engine sounds like no other. The power and torque curve are continual and strong. Maintaining an older Z3 is very easy. Top mounted oil filter element and plenty of room to work in the engine bay.

This is my second Z3. I love the 97-1.9 for its economy and the 98-2.8 for its get-up and go. You become one with the car and the road feeling every turn & straight away in harmony. Just relax and go... I wish I would have kept both but you can really only drive one at a time!

What a great sports car in the 3.0 version & 5 speed! Awesome good looks in & out, fun to drive with the top down, and two-tone interior is a head-turner. Still, I'm 5'9" and have trouble getting in w/o hitting my head on the top's frame.

Best bang for the buck - be ready to put some work & $ into it - suspension, exhaust, stereo etc. Mine now pushing @ 150 hp now. Opened up airbox and lost the cat. Put freeflow cat-back and new coil pack , plugs and wires. She handles great and runs strong. The old 1.9's are getting more respect these days and they are easy to work on to get right. This car turns heads and the guys running the big M's are always giving me crap but they can't lose me and most times I out-drive them anyway. Great sports car to run until you get something better or just to keep. I've had mine six years now and she runs and drives better than ever.

WHEN INTERESTED IN BUYING..SOME SELLERS EITHER LIVE TO FAR AWAY TO DRIVE IN OR ARE TO OLD TO MAKE THE TRIP...MAYBE IF YOU WAS TO GO TO THEM WITH A TRUCK TO TRANSPORT THE CAR BACK WITH YOU OR ANOTHER DRIVER, YOU MIGHT GET A LOT MORE CARS.. I WAS ONE OF THESE PEOPLE AND THIS IS WHY I DIDN'T SELL THE CAR, WHICH BY THE WAY IS IN SHOWROOM NEW LOOKING AND PERFECT SOUND CONDITION...

Handle very well on curvy roads. Great braking power. Very comfortable on long trip. You have to learn how to drive it. It is not a roadster for dummies. Great over all car.

Blacked out Mustang Gt, car is extremely fun to drive. I was told about few minor things before purchasing but seller was accommodating and the price definitely was a good deciding factor. Seller did explain a couple of things that wasn't required of him. I would recommend these guys.

For it's year it is in really good shape. You really have to see to appreciate how well the car kept up. The interior is in great shape and the same is the exterior. The looks new.
