VW TDI
This is a serious powerful green car with extraordinary mileage per tank. Love my Jetta Tdi Sportwagen.

worst car I have ever owned
I have owned many cars both American and Japanese. This is my first so called German car.The seats are so uncomfortable that I have to make many stops on a long trip. All the radio stations drifted while driving so I have to use the cd player only.I brought it back 3 times and the dealer said it is OK and met company standards. They said/listen to this/Use the am stations and listed to the news.My wife and I had to bring it back to the dealer 7 times before they could fix all the rattles and leaks.Just a bad car.

Jetta S
Bought my 2010 Jetta S about 2 months ago. It's a great car so far. Wish the gas mileage was a little better. I seem to fill it up more than my previous Ford Focus but that's really my only complaint. It looks and feels great and I hope to have it for many years to come!

Great Fuel Economy and Power without Hybrid Headac
I purchased a 2010 TDI Cup Street Edition. The car has been fantastic. Typical VW dealer nightmares as in incompetent dealer network but the car is good.

My second Jetta TDI
My 2 year old GTI got smashed in an accident so I went looking for a new ride. Prior to the GTI I owned a 1996 Jetta TDI and it is still on the road (gave it to a friend). That car was a workhorse and had over 200,000 miles on it. The new TDIs are much improved over my 1996 model. More horsepower and cleaner exhaust. VW makes a good car. The new Jetta TDI is fun to drive and should be as reliable as my 1996 workhorse while giving 35 mpg average (thus far)

Greatest gas mileage
We love our new VW Jetta sportswagon. My husband drives it daily to work and only has to fill up every 2 weeks. He has been getting 42 miles per gallon around town. The turbo diesel has great get up and go and drives like a sports car. The handling is great and hugs the road. We did alot of research on cars before we were sold on the VW Jetta DSI Sportswagon. Has plenty of leg room in front and back seats and the wagon has great storage in the back. We love our new VW and now thinking about getting our daughter her own.

Not a BMW 335i,--but not bad
We have had the car for 4 months and are quite pleased. I have been able to get 52 mpg on the highway & 33 mpg in town. The big payoff for me is that this "clean diesel" that VW has been using since '09 you notice very little difference b/tw this car and a Jetta w/ a 2.0 GAS turbo. The torque is amazing. We a had BMW 530i previously and although a step down, it still handles and drives like a 'German Auto'. We drove a Camry and Prius hybrid and they are not even in the same league as this vehicle if you actually like to drive. Some cars perform only when you mash the accelerator, this one performs when you do AND when you don't.

Dissapointed
Navigation system does not recognize streets in NYC and VW's customer service response is to contact Navteq and buy a new disk. The bluetooth does not link to phone contacts, caller id etc. The fake leather seats are not comfortable. Engine is great. They just need to improve customer service and options in the car. It sounds like the 2011 jetta is even worse. WSJ titles the review "Less for Less".

Sporty, reliable and inexpensive to own.
My 2010 Jetta SE is a great car. It's very sporty to drive, it gets good gas mileage, the trunk is enormous and it has not had any problems in the 11,000 miles that I have owned it. The free scheduled maintenance that came with the car is a huge PLUS. This is my 7th VW since 1997 and they have all been amazing. You will not go wrong if you purchase a Jetta.

Jetta TDI Cup Edition
I am very happy with this purchase. The TDI performance is great, but the turbo can be a little sluggish to kick in. Really wanted the Golf TDI, but hated the front seats. The Jetta Cup Edition is a great alternative -- performance handling and I like the sports seats better. I spent the extra for the appearance package and am glad I did. I constantly have people stop and comment on the look..... It is a great little car and "green" at that!
