Subaru Ascent - Great Vehicle

First time buying Subaru but the quality and attention to detail throughout the vehicle is excellent. It rides very smooth, it is a quiet vehicle and has a tremendous amount of room. The dash is easy to read the digital display is excellent and the options are plentiful on the Limited Edition.

Opposite of buyers remorse?

We bought this car new and the more I drive it the more I like it. It is like a clown car, in that the outside it does not seem big and it drives more like a car than an SUV, but the interior feels huge. Pluses: nice interior space, great headroom for tall drives, the adaptive cruise control works great and it drives well. The only minus so far is the gas mileage, we are getting around 16-17 MPG in city driving. Otherwise totally satisfied with the car.

Best family SUV for the money!

My wife and I have been researching and shopping for cars for weeks. We looked at hundreds from several different brands. Being a family with four kids second row Captain seats were vital. Also, we live in Utah, and we believe in all wheel drive. We test drove Chevys, Buicks, Kias, Hyundais and Subarus. We told ourselves to be open and fair to each brand. We were excited for the new styles of the Kia and Hyundai, but we're really comfortable with the layout of the Chevy and Buick. In all of them there were small differentiators among each brand whether that were price, drive, feel or amenities, but the one that came out on top for us was the Subaru Ascent. The Ascent is quite, quick, comfortable, has all wheel drive, captain seats, well fitted, and was the best price for sure. We would like the third row to be a little bigger, but it works great for our family. Without a doubt we have more amenities for the price than we could have ever purchase in the other brands. We even added an 8 year 85,000 bumper to bumper warranty, and still came out less by thousands than the the other brands. We have now had the car for two weeks, and love it more each day. Very happy with the purchase.

Better than I expected

My wife was in love with the Ascent and brought it home for a test drive while her outback was getting an oil change. It is very well equipped, has everything our family needs, and was a surprisingly well handling and sporty drive. I drive a truck so towing is not a concern, but we will definitely be loo into getting the Ascent as our next family vehicle.

Ascent

The Ascent had the extra interior room we were looking for in a new Subaru. We can get two large dog kennels in it with room to spare and it has all of the bells and whistles to please the dogs' mom and dad!
