No regrets, still a blast to drive

Supercar fast with truck utility and serious off-road capability. Best truck I’ve ever owned. Kids love riding in it and crawling through tunnel. A great first truck from Rivian.

Swiss Army Knife of Vehicles

Put the refundable deposit down in July ‘21 and our truck arrived Dec ‘22. We have 7,435 miles as of today with zero problems. I rotated the AT tires at approximately 5k miles and it looks like we might get 30k miles out of them. Not bad considering the performance and weight of this truck. Everyone that has ridden in or driven our truck has been blown away. We were lucky enough to have gotten it before the price went up, but after having owned it for the last 7 months, it would still have be worth it after the price increase. Hard to find a vehicle that checks so many boxes. I grew up driving F-250/F-350’s and this obviously can’t carry what they can. It also isn’t a RWD sports car. But it fits our needs and lifestyle perfectly. We love this truck and have no regrets at all about purchasing it. Drive one if you get the opportunity!

Incredible all-around truck. Performance, luxury, quality, fit and finish, capabilities, technology. Unique look and just the right size. Nothing else quite like it on the market.

The best pick-up ever made.

I received my Launch Edition R1T back at the end of May and wow. Just wow! After 3 months and 4000 miles, I'm still blown away by this truck. The build quality is phenomenal - no panel gaps or rattles anywhere. The performance is simply unmatched. Rocketing from 0-60 in 3 seconds *in a pickup truck* will never get old :) The ride quality is fantastic too; the air-adjustable suspension is in a league of it's own. I really like that it raises and lowers the ride height depending on the application. At highway speeds it lowers to improve range and efficiency. Around town it raises up to improve visibility. Off-road, it raises up to 15"(!) of ground clearance to tackle the trails. For reference, a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon only has 10.8" of ground clearance. I also purchased the Rivian home charger, and it works well. It fully charges the truck in about 12 hours, but I charge it to the recommended 70% for daily use (which improves battery longevity). Most of the time I plug it in when I get near 50% (every few days) and it charges back to 70% in about 2 hours. The range estimator is also very accurate, compared to other EVs I've owned or driven. I have the 20" all-terrain tires (which cuts range), and I get consistently 293 miles of range in conserve mode. The user interface is pretty incredible too. They went with Amazon's OS and, for a new platform, I'm quite impressed. It has room for improvement, but the overall functionality and performance is pretty solid. Maps are nice too - it has an off-road inspired, topo map look to it :) The 4.5' bed is shorter than most, but I don't use my truck as a truck very much anymore, mostly for hauling the kids and trips across Tennessee for work. Occasionally we'll fill the bed with stuff for road trips. There's a million little details they've tucked away, too. I keep finding little easter eggs I didn't notice. The complaints I have so far are: -some wind noise at highway speeds which appears to come from the side mirrors (it's more noticeable without engine noise :) -the camp speaker and flashlight stopped charging in the truck (I have a service center visit scheduled next week) -the app lacks quite a few features (compared to Tesla) but I believe they will begin adding more in the future -Spotify integration hangs up periodically and won't play (I have to navigate to the radio, then back to Spotify to reset it) I am not an employee by the way.
