The best car I have ever owned

This is the best car I have ever had to drive. The handling is great.Lots of power for passing. I drive mostly at 80 mph. Great highway car. Love the styling and finish.

Just too good.

I've driven a black G37x for a year. Had to replace an MX5 (my fun car) when my granddaughter came to live with us. No regrets. The G37 is fun too. The other reviews of the G37 in this section tell this car's story accurately, so I will only add a few things. When you first drive the car the handling may bore you. Pay attention! The handling is boring because the multi-link suspension just makes the curves disappear. White-knuckle, narrow winding roads turn into comfortable boulevards. It's totally awesome once you notice what is happening. Next, no need to down-shift, ever. The auto transmission does it for you. Also, get the nav system. I did not and I regret it. I have a nav system in another car and I hate it. BUT in this car the nav system includes a HUGE hard disk on which you can load all your music. Superior user interface to the non-nav. IPod connection for the non-nav model works, but is inconvenient. So the nav system is worth the money even if you don't actually use the nav system itself. I expect great realiability. I bought an Infiniti G20 in 1990 and drove it for 10 years (145,000 miles) with no trouble at all. Cheapest car to own I have ever had. I would totally buy the G37 again.

Pleasantly Suprised

This is a great Car. I purchased the G37X 4 door sedan with a Premium Package. I have not had it in winter yet, but summer handling blows the doors off my Acura. The 7 speed transmission lets me get up to speed on the highway, and then crank it open even more when I need it. The tachometer barely registers above 2 at full freeway speed. It has lots of power and feels very sure of itself on the road. Along with that power comes some of the touchiest brakes I have ever seen, but this is needed. I took the car on a 2000 mile road trip (1000 m per day) when I first bought it and it was very quiet (and I did not have the usual stiffness as the seats are built for driving). The creature comforts are great as well, comfortable seats, power adjustments, xm radio and bose stereo, controls on the steering wheel, and the ipod dock are very nice. It is not all good though. Fuel economy could be better (not bad but not great like the new Mustang). The sunroof produces lots of wind noise above 40 mph in the full open position so I never have it open on the freeway. The middle back seat is not the most comfortable for adults. And the car has too much horsepower so I don't enjoy my other cars anymore (probably a plus). Overall this is a great car for the money and I would definitely buy another one.

Rocket Ship

About 8 weeks ago I bought a new 2009 G37X. It took some searching to find it. The car's a beauty in Blue sage. It's very fast, handles great , and truly is a pleasure to drive! On a recent trip I got 27 mpg and that's with only 1500 miles on the car. I did not get the Nav pkg. I'm still undecided if that was a good idea or not. If you're looking for fun, comfortable, fast car this would be a great choice!

Awesome ride

This is the first car that I have owned and I feel like a teenager while behind the wheel. The G7X coupe has all of the bells and whistles you will need. Trade in the grocery getter and get this fast little ride--you will not regret it.

Fastest Car Owned

With a 9 year old and 1 year old, I finally traded in my '04 G35 coupe for the new 328 hp G37 sedan. The ride is so much more comfortable, not only because it's a 4 door, but the way it handles rough terrain, potholes etc. Nice pickup especially if you use the auto stick mode. I will admit car rides more smooth if you use auto stick. With the Variable Valve Timing the computer shifting can be sudden. All in all outstanding design and reliabilty.

Great car - a lot of fun

THis car has 327 horse powers under the wod, it takes quite some gas to wake them up but when they start running you get some G's for your money... This car has a great handling, sticks to the road and will give you a lot of pleasure to ride. The audio system is not great, the room on the back is not the best in its category, the colors of the central screen are quite tacky and the gas mileage is low when you drive sporty. Other than that this car is 100% pleasure and fun and will give you a lot of satisfaction. Radar detector is a must with this car...

Best car under 60k

I've owned a few cars though the years. Many domestic and lately German cars. However after driving my G37 for 9 months I can say without hesitation this is by far the "most car for the money". This thing handles like a dream. Plenty of power, decent fuel economy, and technology out the wazoo. Defines a new age GT car. It cuts down the highway like a razor. The exterior looks at first glance, seem plain and ordinary. At second look this car has SERIOUS CURVES. It really is a 3D car. From above, behind and all around this car oozes class and excitement. Go check one out. Better yet, drive one.

Purchase of New '09 G37

Leased a new '09 G37 in March 2010. Very happy with my decision. This car is amazingly versatile - sporty yet luxurious and full of technology. I was thinking about a new Mustang GT but couldn't pass up the incentives on the G37. This car is seriously fast especially when using the manual mode of the automatic. Publications say 0-60 in 5.2 and I believe it. Enjoy the bluetooth capability (phone calls through the sound system), keyless entry, mp3 connectivity, and Bose sound system features. Looks are deceiving - you see a run of the mill entry-level luxury car on the outside but handles and accelerates like a true sports car.
