should have bought this years ago
I love this car. Best value of all similar cars. Only downside: 1, smallest trunk space with top down among similar cars. 2, A little more wind than the lexus, but not too much. Luxurious, powerful, reliable. More car for the money compared to lexus 350is, way more car compared to BMW. The car is very fast. It is, feels and sounds powerful.

Wish I got the 2010
My only complaint is that I wish I had gotten the 2010. The 2009 model has an older Nav system that has a lower resolution display, doesn't display iPod artwork and won't play songs over bluetooth. If you're not into any of that, I'm sure the 2009 is just as good.

G37 convertible
I love this car. I'm upset I waited so long to buy it. Great car. Peppy engine. Smooth suspension. Top opens in less than 30 seconds. minimal wind even on the free way. Only issue is the trunk space. Infiniti is probably the worst of the cars I compared in regard to trunk space with top down. G37 is very comparable to lexus 350 is, just cheaper. I liked infiniti navigation and speakers in headrest better. Infiniti seemed smoother, maybe faster. I liked the looks and lines of infiniti better. Lexus 350 IS, a little less wind and more trunk space. Basically the same car, G37 a little cheaper unless you go 250 IS. BMW 135 is nice, just no hard top convertible. 3 series and 335 is similar just more money. Audi A4 is nice, similiar- again no hard top. Audi top however can open and close less 30 MPH. Curiously, although not advertised, My G37 top opens and closes at very slow speeds.

Infiniti G37S Great Vehicle!
I bought my black g37S sedan in Aug 09 with 5000 miles on it from a dealer in Louisville .I never drove the vehicle before I bought it because there are no Infiniti dealers less than 100 miles from where I live in SC though I had driven a used G35 once and I had always liked the car since 2003 when they came out.It was brought to me by a truck transport and it has truly been a wonderful vehicle since that August day when it came. What a pleasure to drive so smooth and quiet and holds the curves great.A lot of power and beauty and really just a blast to drive.Only complaint I have is rear tires wore out at 25000 miles and had to replace.Cannot rotate tires because front and back are different widths.Did not buy Bridgestones again because of this .Had a Nissan the same thing happened with these high performance tires they don't last long.Otherwise I love the car have put 20000 miles on it since I got it and will buy another Infiniti because they make beautiful and dependable vehicles!I love the G!!!

Infinite review
Pleased with car ( sport, hardtop convertible) bought it with only 600 miles on it in Feb 2011. Great looks and performance. Ride is not great because of 19" wheels. Lacks storage places inside and almost none with top down. Still, this is a tradeoff. Love the sound and the classy interior, especially the seats. Owned two BMW's before and rate this car superior, especially the interior looks and design.

Just a Thrill to Drive with the TOP DOWN!!!
I purchased this car in April 2011 and let me tell you I have NOT regret ed it. I looked at BMW, Audi and Lexus but ultimately decided to go with the Infiniti because of the long term reliability and youthful oriented soul of the G37S convertible. My wife and I absolutely love this car. We love everything from the looks to the power to the impressive handling. I recently took it on a 700 mile road trip and averaged 27 MPG. Not bad for a car with this much power. So far the only negatives for me are the radio (bass is fine but I would like to have more mid-range and treble) and a slightly rough shift when the car is up shifting or down shifting from 1st to 2nd (and vice verse). The seats are ultra supportive (fits like a glove) and little features like the backup camera add a nice luxurious touch to the car. This engine likes to be revved to reach it's sweet spot which can get you into trouble with the posted speed limit. Overall just a gorgeous car that provides exactly what we were looking for during our weekend getaways. Time to get out and live life!

Great fun car with style and performance
There is more room in the rear seat than the Lexus SC and the cost is much lower. The trunk space will surprise , 3 golf bags.

A fine tourer
I had a G-35 a while back, so I knew this car would be a good, reliable follow-on. Infiniti puts a great deal of quality and craftsmanship into their automobiles. The exterior of the car is handsomely designed with excellent fit and finish, and the interior is well thought -out and quite stylish. I like the ride and handling, but you have to realize that the cars rather heavy weight prevents it from being tossable. The steering feedback and feel are quite good, but the the car understeers if you push too hard. It is fast, and relatively quick, but again the weight and modest torque keep the car from being a rocket. The G-37's forte is high speed cruising, It has very comfortable seats, an outstanding integrated nav/audio system, very good brakes, and a mulitiude of other nice to have and necessary options. You can spend hours behind the wheel and still emerge feeling fresh. So far I am very satisfied with my 6-speed G-37.

Great performance, Great value
We've owned our 2009 G37x sedan for about three months now. It was purchased used with 12,000 miles on it. It has been trouble-free. We also own a 2004 G35 coupe, which has been largely trouble free over the last three years. The G37 is a great choice for someone who needs four doors, but is reluctant to drive a boring family car. The car is comfortable, handles well, and accellerates rapidly. Equipped with the premium and navigation package, our G has a lot of nice features...memory seats & mirrors, good stereo (for a factory system), and the built in navigation is nicer than chasing a windshield mount unit all over the car after you took it down when it was parked to reduce the chance it would get stolen. Though the car is often compared to the BMW 3-series, it is a bit larger. I wouldn't want to haul four six-foot tall adults in it, but the back seats are fine for shorter adults or kids. We've averaged 22 m.p.g. in our G37x, with one longer highway trip producing 25 m.p.g. 80% of our driving is city and urban interstate. The fuel tank is huge, and it's nice to only fill up once every three weeks or so.
