Front Bumper To Low

I have had this car for about 3 mths. bought it brand new but the front bumper broken. It has broken clips due to it being so low that it hits the concrete parking logs when you park , I have never had a car do this before. it is an issue that needs to be addressed. IT is just to low

nice car for the price

Needed a reliable car to replace a 14-year-old Subaru Legacy wagon. I did not need the wagon capacity to hold anything and everything, be it furniture or bins of compost, so a small car with a long warranty and good reliability seemed to be a good choice. Have had it for a month, seems to be a neat little means of transportation. Manufacturer should include spare tire as standard; I had to buy it separately - I would never drive a car without knowing there's a spare tire in the trunk. Very cheap of them. The car could use a compartment to hold Stuff in addition to the glove compartment. It has too many cup-holders, and not enough nooks to hold Miscellaneous that accumulates when you start using the car..... It only has 200 miles, so I hope it will continue being a reliable, and safe, car, for years.

Great Value, surprisingly comfortable

Got jointly with my teenage daughter for her to drive over 8 months ago. Value for the money is outstanding for what you get. I am over 6' and large and the driver seat is surprisingly roomy for me. The cargo area is nice for the size car it is. It looks great inside and out. Bluetooth works great. Really good safety features for the money. It's an airbag with wheels- that is a good thing for a teenager. I bought a spare on the internet just to be safe. They should include a spare of some kind but they don't to keep MPG higher. Engine performance is fine for local driving- noisy but really solid. Great purchase- very happy with it. No issues so far.

Not happy with a front bumper issue

I have had this car for about 6 mths. bought it brand new but the front bumper has broken clips due to it being so low that it hits the concrete logs when you park , I have never had a car do this before. it is an issue that needs to be addressed in redesign of the next yr.'s model and of course it is my fault for goung over the concrete log. Not happy over this issue....

Most reliable and comfortable

I have had a Sonata for approximately 18 months, have loved it so much that I just purchased an Accent for a second car.

Excellent car for the money, great in the city

If you are looking for a gas sipper that can get around in the city very well, then you have arrived. If you are comparing subcompact vehicles, you should seriously consider the Accent in your comparison. Tons of value for your money, excellent interior design, peppy through town, and great materials used on the dash, seats and center console. The exterior is quite aggressive and allows for plenty of room (I'm 6'4" and had no issues fitting, at all). This car really does feel great to drive and is excellent in the city. However, if you are commuting into the city, you take long trips between towns, or plan to fit more than two, or three people at a time into your car, you might want to step up to the Elantra. There is very little room in the back (it's a subcompact), the steering feels loose and it would not be pleasant traveling at 70 miles per hour. The interior is an excellent balance of masculine/feminine, but the exterior can be hard for some to like. Overall, if you are looking for a subcompact, you live in the city, or you want a gas sipper for a ton of value, you should seriously consider the Accent in your comparison. It feels good to drive, very well designed, very peppy in the city and has a good amount of storage under the hatch.

No Regret

For the value, it's a great car. I have used for 3 months and have a trip for 1600 Km (we do not use Mile). The longest trip is about 1200 Km and it's spend only 95 Litre Gasoline (sorry again, not converting yet). For 1.4L machine here, it's so efficient. Exterior is uniqe, interior is comfort. SO, im not regret to change my 8 years France Car for this one. Thank You.

Great value

This car is a great value for the money. Excellent warranty, reliability, fun to drive. I bought this car for my daughter. I bought an '09 for her which was a standard and she would not put any effort in leaning to drive a stick. I loved that car myself. So she is about to go to college and I bought the '13 GS model with an automatic. I think every car with a 4 cyl engine should only be equipped with a standard transmission, as the engines are pretty much under powered with an automatic trans. She loves the car and the styling is very nice. Shortly after, I bought an Elantra GT with a 6-speed manual and my wife is looking to get a Elantra sedan or a Sonata. We checked out the competition Hybrids and gas engines, but we both liked the Hyundai's overall.

Smartest Buy Ever

Perhaps it's from where I came as a car owner. Hadn't bought new since 1998. Small truck I had driven for several years was such a burden on the pocketbook at the gas pump, I was easy to please. However, the improvement in car design, performance with a 4 cylinder, are so futuristic to me I am happy to have waited until now to have bought new. With Hyundai and its 100,000 bumper to bumper warranty, I'm comfortable I made the right choice.

Disappointed

I commute 60 miles back and forth to work each day on a highway, 65 miles per hour. To start off, I had a terrible buying experience with the dealership. But, here are some of the problems I am having with the car. The drivers headrest will not stay in place, it migrates upward. The brakes are very poor, little stopping power. The clock on the radio gains 6 minutes per week. Only one useful cup holder in the front and none in the back. Very little room in the back for passengers. Hard to maintain a constant speed below 30 mph, the engine constantly surges. The car does not track well on the highway, I have to constantly make corrections. The hard plastic armrests are so uncomfortable that I have attached foam to it. This wil be my last Hyundai product.
