Very comfortable and easy drivable.
This car has bluetooth connectivity and multi functional steering wheel which is really helpful for me.

Cost effective, stylish, and safe
This was my first car and I bought it when I was 18 to get me through college. It did just that and so much more. It got me through 2 nursing programs in their entirety, and now as a BSN RN, I am proudly passing the car on to another young owner. It did me well. It was cost effective in price of the actual vehicle new, and the fuel effectiveness cannot be beat. I would recommend this car for any first-time car buyer just starting out into adulthood.

Nice car, just wish it had cruise control!
I currently own this car, it's great in every way except it doesn't have cruise control. I also have no option to charge my phone. My chord for charging was stolen and I have yet to find another chord compatible with my Accent! The car is reliable, and perfect in every other way.

Everything works how you'd hope.
The fit and finish is outstanding. There are no rattles and despite the low price, nothing looks cheap. The car looks good, drives well, it's very fuel efficient and reliable. This has been a great car.

Great Upgrade
This is my second vehicle after owning a 2001 Chevy Prizm. It was a fantastic upgrade and so far I have no issues with the car. It may be one of the smaller models in the Hyundai line, but as someone who is 6'5" tall, I have no issues fitting in the car. Plenty of leg room and head room.

This my third Hyundai
This is the third Hyundai I have owned. They are a nice car to drive and very reliable. My husband does all the service on the car as when we had a equipment rental business on LI, NY and he did the service of equipment.

My First Car!
After purchasing a cash car at 16, I was finally ready to finance a car all on my own. At 20 I bought my Certified Accent with the 10 yr/100,000 mile warranty and I love it! Haven't had a single issue with it and the peace of mind having the warranty is such a relief after having to buy and replace parts every time something went wrong with my old car.

It's ok
This is my first car and I really loved it until I stared noticing some issues. The main problem is that it is so low to the ground. The front bumper scrapes on concrete parking logs and curbs and I cant even pull into my own driveway without it scraping. It broke the clips and the bottom of the bumper and behind the right front wheel started dragging on the ground when I drive. It creates a terrible scraping sound and duct tape won't even hold it. Another thing is that it does not have a center console. They put and armrest on the driver side but not one on the passenger side which is annoying if you're the passenger. This also means less room for storage and there's only three cup holders. Also, there are no controls on the steering wheel panel. The car is cute though and it gets up to speed pretty quickly which I find important. It also gets pretty good gas mileage I've gotten up to 42mpg from driving on the highway for a while. Overall, if you're looking for a car like this, I like it...but I would probably recommend the elantra.

Cold weather bumper problem
At -14C the bumper on the Hyundai Accent becomes so brittle that driving through snow causes it to shatter. I have a 2013 - had to replace the bumper after the first normal Canadian winter (with paint $1000+) happened again this year FROM BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY on a cold day. Did the same type of thing with my Toyota for years with no problem (same driveway). I feel like putting a sign on my bumper that says "Canadian winter 2 - Hyundai Bumpers 0". Anyway, if you live in a cold climate add the cost and annoyance of replacing a fractured bumper cover every year when you think about buying the Accent.
