2010 Honda Accord consumer reviews

Excessive oil consumption is the problem. Honda will tell you that eating 1 qt of oil per 1000 miles is "within parameters." That started at 7K miles. By 59K, 2 tows, 16 visits to the dealer for scheduled/unscheduled mx reasons in 3 yrs, I was "given" a brand new engine due to cylinder scorching. Of course the warranty expires at 60K and I needed to purchase an extended warranty with my "new" engine, which Honda will not pick up. I bought this car for the reliability, all it has done is cost me so much in time, money, and frustration....buy a Camry or Altima instead.

Greatly enjoy the Honda Accord. Honda is perhaps the most reliable product out there on the market. Plus, the resell value is fantastic!

Its a great car comes fully loaded with heated seats , moonroof, navigation , leather interior and comes with 7 year powertrain warranty. Driving on highways is very smooth and has an amazing fuel efficiency.

I bought my Honda Accord new & it is the best car I've ever had! I plan on driving it for the rest of my life! I've had new Toyotas (Camry & Corollas) and Honda Civic, but my Accord is THE BEST ever! Very attractive design looks sporty for a sedan, comfortable seating (front & back), huge trunk space, smooth acceleration (4-cylinder is plenty enough power), great stereo (6 speakers) and good mileage! I Love my Honda Accord! Toyota Camrys are the competition but they are less sporty, softer ride and more suited for the older crowd!

Nice car, but is my first automatic car, so I fell weak acceleration !!!! I got disappointed cuz u can't control your iPod from the audio system!!! But like all Hondas it's very reliable!!!!

Great car that will last many years! Has all the features you could ever want and gets great MPG. Plenty of room for tall owner too.

I have driven a 2000 Honda Accord EX-L for 9 years, and I LOVED it, so I thought the 2010 would be worth the splurge for it's reliability. Unfortunately, the heat and air conditioner in the 2010 makes a terrible buzzing noise unlike anything I've heard in any other vehicle. I've only had the car a month and have taken it in to have it checked 2x, and I've been told that the noise is normal and to "turn the radio on" when I use the heat/air. A major disappointment! I was also surprised that the gas mileage in the 4 cylinder is about the same as I got in my previous V6 model. Not a terrible car, but my opinion of Honda is definitely not the same.

I came to see a car and ended buying it! The sales man Kevin is the best sales man I have ever met. They treated me with respect and everyone is very friendly. I went to several dealers and they refered me to NY Motor Group. I am real glad I came and bought my Honda Accord.

This is the most uncomfortable car I have ever owned in my life. I bought it for driving on a rough dirt road and for that it is the BEST I have ever owned. The gas mileage is great and I love the moonroof. I do not like the interior design it is bulky and HUGH! But I guess you have to trade comfort and luxury for a vehicle that gets great mileage and can stand up to rough gravel roads.

I bought the 2010 Honda Accord in June and thought it was great to start with! Then the brakes went bad after 20,000 miles. Then the rear bearings went bad at 30,000 and they argued with me about it and finally convinced them to check it and they were. My biggest issue is i have been going to the honda dealership for over a year now complaining that the car doesn't always want to crank. Of course they always say that it's nothing. I have read other reviews on other sites and i'm not the only one having this trouble. I bought this car to be reliable and now i'm worried about being stranded.
