2013 Ford Fusion consumer reviews

This has been one of my favorite car purchases ever. Super fun and comfortable to drive. Interior is extremely roomy. The exterior always catches people's eye. I get a ton of compliments. My only complaint is the Bluetooth can be spotty with the iPhone 7 Plus. Never had problems with my 6s Plus.

I currently have approximately 69,000 miles on my car. I purchased it used with about 17,000 miles on it. It is SE trim level with the 2.0 liter Ecoboost and leather interior. I am really happy with this car. I have not had a single problem with this car during my ownership. I have always had this vehicle in for service at my local Ford Dealer, Wendle Ford. They have treated me very well and each service except for my scheduled transmission service (which I did prior to the 100k Ford recommends) was less than 40 dollars. Although I haven't had any reliability issues there have been several recalls which have all been done during my regular oil changes. Performance of this car in my opinion has been excellent. Power is exceptional and fuel economy is good provided you keep your foot out of it. Boost or Economy but you don't get both. I have averaged about 27 mpg over the life of the car. The body is remarkably stout even after almost 70k, with no rattles or squeaks to speak of. Suspension is smooth with minimal body roll for a mid-sized sedan. Wind and road noise is impressively low, especially after replacing the OEM tires at 55k with Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires, which I would highly recommend. Wear items for this car have been excellent from Wiper Blades to Tires to Brakes. The brake pads are currently at 8mm so I'm thinking I should be able to get another 10k or so out of them before I have to seriously think about replacing them. So now for the bad. The heater controls in my opinion are not laid out in a logical ergonomic manner. The stereo is definitely a weak point with just average sound at best. The drivers seat although incredibly comfortable makes a popping noise occasionally when hitting bumps or when just shifting my weight in the seat. I only weigh about 160lbs so excessive wear should not be an issue. All in all, I think this is a exceptionally well engineered car that has few faults. Great job Ford and keep up the good work! You've come a long way from the days of the Tempo!!

Most unreliable vehicle I have ever driven. 4 yrs old under 40k miles. New fuel system, New window motors, door latches... Oh and the best a new engine. Car is currently at the dealership for what is most likely another cracked block. Engine was replaced in November. Still waiting on recall parts for the defective seatbelts. Save your money and but a Toyota

Excellent car for the money. I have the 1.6 turbo. Good mileage and performance. I had leather seats installed because beige upholstery kept bleeding thru. Ford would not do anything about it. One fuel injector failed and allow fuel in one cylinder and froze up the engine at 35000 miles. The warranty covered this but I took out extended warranty because worried about future problems. The plus is style, handling, comfort.

I really loved owning this car! It's stylish, handles perfectly in ice/snow/rain. The interior is beautiful and it drives so well. I'm only parting with it to get an SUV to get my aging parents in/out easier.

I think this car is a great vehicle. I was in a smaller car before changing to this one. I appreciate the roominess and the feel. The car handles well and I love the way it drives. The cockpit of the car is well laid out and everything is easy to handle and controls are easy to get to.

This is a great looking car, with lots of pep, an plenty of room for a family of four. It offers a smooth, quiet and comfortable ride.

This car is awesome! It's safe drives quietly and has great gas mileage. The only negative is the value has greatly depreciated. I'm getting ready to by a new car now and I will be upgrading to the 2017 model! This car is comfortable and roomy. I highly recommend!
