Great car I love it

I am currently on my second Flex I had a 2010 SEL which was great for a family with four teenagers. It had the two captin chairs in the front the bench second row and third row. 2 soccer players room for all their equipment. It was a great car so good in fact that in 2016 I traded up for a limited which is even more awesome than my first it has four captain chairs dual air conditioning front and back push button start and automatic lift hatch it also has navigation and sync 3 which is a big upgrade from the original sync. This car also has remote start. The best part for me is I can actually tow this car behind my RV without a problem at all and without putting any miles on the odometer. I highly recommend it.

My favorite car ever!

It's comfortable and can hold a lot of items for a farm family (bags of chicken feed, lumber etc.). It also can hold all my friends to go to the movies. And it's low enough for my 95 year-old friend to easily get into the front seat.

It's an SUV... emphasis on the S.

This car is so zippy! The fact that I can pick up large amounts of gravel every time I leave my driveway. Our flex is now nearly 5 years old with over 100000 milesand I would still, 100%chose it over our 2018 VW Atlas. I noticed alot of reviews saying the seats are not supportive. THIS IS OPINION!!!! Both me and the rest of our family enjoy the soft seats that don't have "supportive" sides that jam into us at every akward angle possible. But truly this car is so fun and fast to drive. The only negative we have is the gas tank is not the world's largest. (May have to do with my driving habits as well).

Just Purchased My Second Flex Limited...in love!!

My first Flex was a 2012 Limited AWD eco boost, two tone silver with white roof. I absolutely love this car, drove it 102,000 miles. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Have had a couple of mustangs, a mercedes 4 door sedan, an Explorer, Shadow and Taurus wagon...the Flex exceeds all others in comfort, reliability and general personal satisfaction. I get so many compliments on it, both by passersby and passengers. It rides like a limo, has room for our two dogs, (one a 75 lb Boxer) plus fits 7 comfortably. I love the extras, like the ambient lighting, panoramic vista roof and 12 speakers!!!...so glad it's still offered in the 2018. I also love the beach wagon look, and it fits perfectly with our summers on Cape Cod...I wish they had still offered that ginger ale green color...was hoping for that, but the white gold is lovely to look at. Picking it up next week, will be hard to part with my current Flex.

Best family car

We are on our second flex. My wife just loves it and she is by no means a "car person". It's so versatile and comfortable on long road trips. We thought about a new f150 but instead went with the flex limited EcoBoost. You can fit so many things, easy to access and very quiet on the road. We tow a camping trailer w kayaks and bikes on the roof. Overall you can't go wrong!

Simply one great over looked car

This is one of the most comfortable cars I have owned. The looks is not for everyone but I like it. It is well thought out and very utilitarian, it just does everything right.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this car!!

So, I've had all kinds of cars - small cars, a convertible, trucks, SUVs. You name it. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CAR! And I think more than any other car I've owned. When I realized that the crossover I had before it wouldn't allow me to take all three kids (2 in car seats) and my husband and I in the car at the same time, I realized I had to get something else. My husband and I previously had an Explorer, so I was pretty set on getting an Explorer Sport. But, we went to the dealer and sat in a Flex. And I knew then that I wanted the Flex. I love that you can get the Flex in multiple seating configurations. We tried out both the 2nd row bench and the 2nd row captain's chairs. Our kids decided that they liked the captain's chairs more. We started out by sitting in a Limited, which may have been our downfall when we *thereafter* sat in an SEL. The Limited had the 2nd row captains chair and the SEL had the 2nd row bench seats. The Limited was awesome and we were less than wowed by the SEL we sat in. But nevertheless, we took the SEL out for a ride to check it out. The normal, non-ecoboost, engine was a little too boring and unresponsive for me. This particular dealership did not have the ecoboost Flex on the lot, so we were off. We then went to another dealership that had the Limited, ecoboost with sunroofs, sport appearance package with the 2nd row captain's chair configuration. Exactly what we were looking for. Needless to say, we scooped up the vehicle and couldn't be happier! It's small enough to park without worrying you'll hit everything in sight, but more than big enough to carry our whole family, with a friend to spare! The ecoboost engine was definitely the right choice - so much more responsive, but ridiculously smooth! The gas mileage is kind of cruddy, but other than that, this is truly my dream car! FORD - LISTEN UP - WORK ON YOUR GAS MILEAGE!

Buying Another

Probably the most useful and best designed vehicle we've ever owned. It is in a class all to itself. Plus, it's pretty cool looking and easy to drive. Not too big, not too small
