My mom worked for Ford from 89 to 01, she drove me around in an F150 most of my childhood so I’ve always wanted one. Had a big Craigslist come-up with this 168k miles one owner, CA truck. 2wd, 5spd, single cab 4.9 I6. Such a straight forward, friendly, beautiful truck. Badass, cute and cool at the same time. A little patina makes it look even better. Reminds me of my childhood… Exactly what I wanted: a pure truck. An epic time for the USA and Ford. So thankful I found this!

They do not make trucks like this anymore. It is simply one of the easiest vehicles to work on. I get more people stopping me to chat about this truck than almost anything I have ever driven. Thank you Ford!

So I am 3rd owner, bought it from a friend.It is among frills xl with 4.9 At 285000 with just top end being reworked it just keeps going. The starter died today I pulled it and it still retains the original Ford starter...fixed it and put it back in Fired right off

I absolutely love my '96 F150 with the 300 engine! We bought it used 18 years ago and love it still! 397,014 miles on it and it cranks right up every time and it rides like a caddilac! Old guy is a beloved family member even if he is not winning any beauty contests! Great truck.

I bought this truck after I couldn't pull my boat out of the water in OCT/NOV/DEC. My old 1986 F-150 with 2 wheel drive couldn't. This truck was great to get on & off ice with.

Nice truck in great condition ! with no hidden defects or leaks for his age, original mileage, non smoker truck !No money to invest in this beauty !

Bought the truck for $2600, was old work truck. Fixed up front end and small stuff. Motor was the the best thing ever great for hauling, towing, and going out in the woods. Had it for 14 months and rolled it on wet, oilly hill.

If I could have a brand new one sent from the past into the future I would take it over any other truck, truly a good vehicle.

I felt like a teenager again sitting on top of the world. Plenty of power , good visibility 360 degrees, drove smoothly and easy to maintain. I got almost 200,000 miles on it when I sold and am ready for a newer one, but miss my old one.

Great truck, ive owned the truck since 2007, and nothing has truly went wrong, when u exclude regular maintenance. The radiator started leaking 4 years ago, it overheated moderately only once. I had it towed and had the leaky radiator replaced....had absolutely zero overheating ever since, and it did NOT crack the engine head or block, zero oil leaks, and it runs like the overheating never happend. And YES, I AM still driving the truck TODAY. Therefore, the truck is very durable, and dependable, and MOST of the replacement parts are STILL easy to find TODAY !!! The dashboard and interior buttons look a bit cheap and have a lack of style to me, however, under the hood and the truck body is TRULY FORD TOUGH !!!!!
