2011 Ford Edge SEL
I traded in my F150 for a 2011 Edge SEL because I didn't need a truck anymore, and I wanted something my wife could drive. It has been a big change for me, but I haven't regretted it after several months of ownership. The Edge drives like a luxury sedan compared to a truck. The 3.5L has alot of power and acceleration. I have been getting alot of compliments from my friends and coworkers that are unfamiliar with the Edge. Alot of the negative reviews you see online are about problems with MyFord Touch. I saw the reviews and bought an Edge without MFT on purpose to avoid any potential problems. I wish the Edge sat up a little bit higher, but that would probably lower my MPG. I've been getting an average of 24 mpg in the city. This is a great SUV! If I had to purchase again, I would either buy this or the new Explorer if it was a little bit cheaper.

New car turns into a Lemon
Myfordtouch is unpredictable and unsafe. Touch screen comes off and on without warning. Car looses radio, navigation and phone bluetooth connectivity intermittently. Each time (six times now) new car sent to dealership for fix - car comes back with worse touchscreen performance than before. Ford refuses to honor buy back assurance based on lemon law.

2011 Ford Ege SEL 3.5L
The 2011-2012 Ford Edge looks awesome inside and out. I am constantly getting compliments about how luxurious the interior is for what I paid (right at $22k for a one year old car). One person owns a Lexus SUV, and she thinks mine is as nice as hers. The Edge rides like a car, and it is wide so it can hug curves where other SUV's might have some body roll. My favorite things are the front end with the LED's and grill, all of the simple controls on the steering wheel, and the back seats are super roomy and recline pretty far. It is a good family car, so get one! Also, you will notice most of the negative reviews from owners and editors are due to MyFord Touch not working properly (its the reason I gave lower marks for interior and reliability). I recommend getting an SEL model without MyFord Touch, and you'll love it. I do.

First SUV I've owned
I love my Edge however I do not like the position of the hazards, because it is easily turned on when using the onborad navigation system.

So far, so good.
I love most everything so far but have only owned the Edge for 2 1/2 months. Have had the computer system on the My Touch go down once. It was a quick fix but worries me that I have been in for service already. Love all the bells and whistles. Only interior complaint is the forward slant of the headrest.

Second Edge I've owned
Had a 2008, great car and very reliable. Just got a 2011 and I'm just blown away by the improvements! Rides great, handles awesome, better fuel mileage than the 2008, and the exterior is sharp and crisp! Can't say enough about it!

Ford Edge 2011 LTD
I appreciate the combination of good gas mileage, comfort, AWD, Looks, Luxury, and mechanical reliability. The SYNC electronic system is overly complex however and somewhat distracting to the driver.

Luv My Edge SEL
I bought my Edge SEL at the end of May 2011 and have been in love with it since. The ride is solid and extremely comfortable whether you are the driver or the passenger. My Edge SEL is one step short of the limited model. The leather seats are beautiful. The navigation has been very helpful on several occasions and I swore I didn't need a GPS. I don't have the moon roof, but I don't miss it either. My only concerns are with the MyTouch getting stuck on occasion and there is no punching the gas to get around slow traffic (the engine grinds like it is in the wrong gear). My husband now knows he has to ease into passing slow pokes...this could be a safety feature...who knows? These two things don't take away from how pleased I am with my crossover. I love-love-love it!
