2014 Buick Encore consumer reviews

I am a photographer and needed an SUV. I bought this little red SUV because the salesman recommended it. Bought it used in 2017 with 36,000 miles on it. I like the fuel economy (29-33mpg round trip) and the fact that I can haul horse feed, saddles, framed photographs, and my tall husband. But it is a lot smaller inside than it looks. The cargo area with the seats up is barely trunk sized. Also, the turbo charged engine is zippy, but loud. The steering is a bit too responsive. You can easily jerk the wheel too far. There is a huge blind spot and the back window is way too small to see out of. If I didn't have the blind spot alerts, I would be unable to safely change lanes. I have just a little over 50,000 miles and have had the AWD,the blind spot alerts, and the radio glitch out on me and had to have a "software update" on the AWD. I also dislike the way it handles on snow and ice. I have great tires, but it slips too much. Not nearly as good in the snow as my old 4x4 truck or the Audi Quattro we used to own. I have owned several Buick, Pontiac and Oldsmobiles over the years and this Buick isn't nearly as reliable as the ones I used to own. This will be my last GM product. From now on, I will be driving a Toyota.

I work for buick and this car is one of the best i've ever owned! It's sleek, clean, comfortable and reliable. If you buy new the warranty is 2ce as long as most companies and its just overall a great car. I drive over 200 miles a day and I never had a problem with my car. She was always good to me.

The premium model has all the safety and technology that are important for an up to date auto. The 1.4 ltr turbo engine has the encencial power needed for normal driving. The gas mile6is better than I expected.

this car has all the extras i was looking for, is very easy to drive, and should get great gas mileage. It fulfills everything i wanted.

We're very happy with our Buick Enclave. It's new to us and having considered other comparable vehicles we're glad we chose this one.

Very classy in style and smooth driving. Intellilink takes some playing around with, but is such a nice feature. Music system sounds just right. Seats are plush and comfortable leather. Lumbar back support is a very nice feature.

So far, I love this car. I've never had all of the amenities before and Buick does them right! The interior is nice and the engine seems strong for a 4 cylinder. I love that the computer is up higher so you're not looking down when driving. I recommend this car!

I love this car. It's very comfortable to drive and ride in. I test drove several similar types of small SUV's and when I drove this one I knew it was the perfect car for me. I used to drive a mid-sized sedan and didn't think I would like the bulk of an SUV. After being in an accident I decided to get a larger vehicle than a sedan. The Encore handles more like a car. In fact I think of it as a tall car more than a SUV. I also love how safe I feel in it.

Can't tell you how much i enjoy this car, love driving it, super comfortable and is easy to park. I will purchase another Buick in the future because of this experience. Top features for me are electronic seat, AWD and price.

This car is beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. I love the sportiness of the encore. It is a very comfortable ride. The heating steering wheel is awesome, as well as the heated seats. Perfect for cold Minnesota winters. The car handles very well on icy roads, and I feel very safe driving it.
