Not what it seems

I had a test drive of Encore AWD recently, found it did not has the grip like a 4WD, drives like a sedan, without the torque. And the interior is all plastic - very much like those of Japanese/Korean mades. However the price was a premium above them. Certainly, not a vehicle for what it seems to be.

In LOVE!

After two months of car shopping, I ended up right where I started & that's gotta say something about my new ride! After GM agreed to buy back my 2011 Chevy Equinox because it was a lemon, I suddenly found myself test driving everything from the Toyota prius to the Chevy cruze. In the end I went with the Encore because it's a snappy little SUV with great MPG & even though my Chevy was a lemon, GM did right by me & took care of it with little effort on my behalf. Not to mention that I'm addicted to OnStar & the car drives so smooth & cost less then a comparably equipped (leather, navigation, Sunroof & Bose audio) Equinox (which also gets lower MPG). So yea... I am super stoked about my Encore.

Who knew!

Last week I traded in my BMW X3 which I owned for over nine years for the new Buick encore which has everything I've ever wanted in a small SUV. The ride is fantastic and quiet while sitting up high which is unusual for a compact SUV. By far a much better handling than my X-3 however the power is a little lacking. But with the great gas mileage and fantastic ride who cares! Also, the new technology and upgrades are fantastic.

greatest car ever owned

I love that i can set the seat in memory, I also love the size of the suv not big but not small, just the right size for me. Love the color of the exterior and the of course interior color, especially the leather seats. the ride is smooth and love all the features it has. I so will recommend this car to my friends and family.

Cutie Pie

Very nice, wish other manufactors would do this, not everyone wants a big hulking SUV, but in fact they might want to sit up higher and get to where they need to go in not so good weather, It gives you everything you want and need without breaking the bank and still takes regular gas. Other small SUVs take prem gas NO!

Great Car Value

I just went from a 2010 Caddy SRX to this Encore...smaller card but......great in mileage and all the goodies the SRX had except the Bose sound system. Great ride, comfortable and easy to drive. The price was right. No problem with the SRX just a little price to maintain..........

A great little buggy

We just bought an Encore. It really looks great, inside and out. There's plenty of room for 4 adults, and with the back seat folded flat, there's decent cargo space. It handles great and the ride is quiet and smooth. Pick up from a dead start to 60 mph is actually pretty good. Merging onto highways isn't a problem at all. However, quick passing at >65mph is not possible with 138 horses--but that's the trade-off for improved mpg (gets what's advertised). All in all, a great little buggy for most of your driving needs.

Happy with purchase

We love our Encore and its everything we had hoped it would be. After driving a Suburban for 20 years it was time for us to find a car that would give us great MPG.

would not buy this car

While the stylling was appealing the ride, room and overall vehicle was very disappointing. It had all the bells and whistles but was very uncomforatable in ride and handling. Try again Buick, don't think this will be a winner.

Bigger is not better!

If you wanna drive a monster SUV and then complain about gas prices, that's your business. This thing does more right than anything else we found. Right size, gorgeous styling, super quiet inside, great MPG.
