Favorite vehicle so far

I bought my 2013 Encore 5 months ago and so far, one of my best decisions ever. I live in the midwest and we were hit with one of our worst winters in years. I was surprised how well it handled as I did not get the AWD. The turn radius and compact size are a dream come true when commuting and parking in the City. Taking it on road trips is even more enjoyable with the Bose sound system and the smooth quiet ride. I love my Encore and can't believe I got it at such a reasonable price.

2013 Encore - My Experience

I bought a 2013 Buick Encore. It was brand new. My primary use for the vehicle was for commuting purposes back and forward to work - 95% highway miles. It was a great car in terms of comfort. I had the convenience package and the car was loaded with all the options that I absolutely loved. Auto dimming mirrors, heated seats and it handled well in the snow. I did not see any issues with the car having 138 hp at first because I was driving it for comfort, but at 20,000 miles the transmission developed a bad leak. . Originally, the mechanic thought that it needed a new transmission. The car had regular maintenance at the dealer prior to this, so I was surprised. When the dealer's mechanic looked at it (took it apart, etc), he stated that the seal failed, so they they ended up replacing the seal. I have to say I loved this car, but I think the the hp struggles to move the weight of the car and I accelerated this car daily to get get it up to 65 mph off the ramp. I would not buy again until they add more hp to this car.

great all around

I live in the midwest and wanted to get AWD before the snow hit. Previous drove a Nissan Sentra and liked it but it was terrible in snowy commutes. I looked at several small SUVs- Nissan Rogue, Ford Escape, Houndai Tuscon, etc but the Buick Encore really caught my eye, offered more luxury and was similarly priced as these models! The only hitch was that I'm in my 20's so I got some flack from people about buying a "old person" Buick, but I don't care because this car is awesome!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it, and I'm not even a car person. I got the convenience package and the remote start, Bluetooth audio, Bose audio is just so amazeballs.

Great Ride

We sampled the dealerships up and down Camelback Road and bought the Buick Encore from Coulter Cadillac because there was no high-pressure salesman and because we could pick and choose our options unlike Honda, Toyota, Chevrolet, etc. We didn't want a sunroof or four wheel drive and we didn't have to take them at Coulter. The only painless car purchase I have ever had.

Finally one that fits

I'm a small woman who needs to sit higher but wants luxury with fuel efficiency. Finally got it with my new pearl 2013 Encore saddle interior. All the bells and whistles that I had on my Acura MDX that I traded in for this fine vehicle. It's fun to drive and it's hard to believe how peppy it is. No problem passing on the freeway. I will definitely be saving money on gas. I look forward to driving every day. Great sound system and very quiet inside. Great job Buick.

Wonderful

Best car/suv we have ever owned (so far) can't wait to get in it every morning and keep looking for excuses to go out. We ran into someone that drove one when we were on vacation this summer and asked what they thought. They said they drove 10 hours straight to get to their hotel and they were not even tired and that it is that comfortable. They then added, its so cute I am going to name it. I agree, just can't think of the perfect name. It is cute and an excellent commuter car, very good on gas and I think it has plenty of power. We had a hard time finding the exact one and waited, it was well worth it!

I Love It!

I bought the 2014 Ford Escape three weeks ago and I absolutely love this car. Had a 2012 Escape that I liked but the 2014 is even better. Sleek looking, great color called Sunset that everyone says they like. Great maneuverability, enter/exit comfortably, wonderful pick-up with what's called EcoBoast. I purchased it from the same good trusted dealer that I've used for previous purchase. I'm so happy I choose to buy this car and find I can't wait to get in to drive it.

EXCELLENT

We just purchased the 2013 Buick Encore and I have to say we are very happy we did. We looked at all of the small SUV's, CRV,Escape, Jeep,Sportage,Tiguan, the only one we really considered is the Tiguan...But we wanted something better on Gas. The Encore nailed it. averaging 27.8 in city Leather package AWD, its comfortable, Cute, Great sound system, Nav, information center, enough room for folks, hatch area is a good amount of space. Its a cute/handsome and upscale...entry luxury without emptying your wallent. Those complaining about lack of Horsepower??? It was built to be a commuter vehicle, it does have ample pick up even on the highway. But for those who desire Horsepower in an SUV are not those concerened with Gas?
